It's been crazy since December 23. My 83 year old step dad was involved in a horrible accident involving the door of my RV and the violent High Plains winds. He was thrown 5 feet through the air when the wind caught the door of my RV. The door slammed into his head and sent him flying. The impact with the ground shattered the upper femur that contained the spike of his artificial hip. The prosthetic had to be replaced with one that had a longer spike. Long story short, I have spent almost all of my time facilitating his rehabilitation. Writing has been an outlet. He is walking with a walker and doing it mostly on his own but I do have to keep a watchful eye. Please forgive my tardiness in responding to your comments and/or listening to or reading your material. He is on the mend and I will be engaging in interaction soon.
