I'm a singer-songwriter from the Baltimore area, and I'm tied to my piano. Was trained to sing jazz (and recorded a jazzy album), but leaning towards more towards a soulful/expressive style of acoustic/pop songwriting, these days. Lots of flowy and heart-felt stuff, and some occasional kick-in-the-pants growling/edge.
