If you haven't logged in since FAWM 2022, you may need to use the "reset password" function:

As part of the website re-write, we upgraded the password encryption algorithm to be more secure. However, your old passwords were also encrypted using a different algorithm.

We decided it was simpler for each of you to reset your own password than it was for us to keep two copies of passwords (the older of which was obsolete and would defeat the purpose of improving the encryption, anyway)!

Yeah, it took me awhile after trying a few times... before I did the new password thing.
If I remember right my FAWM user name did not work but my email did.
Then I went to the reset password email that was sent and clicked the reset password button in there, which did not work and then I saw you can copy and paste the link which finally got me to the FAWM reset password area.
I must have been successful because here I am!

@wobbiewobbit no, the forums are public, but they would have to think to look at the forums while logged out. :) I thought about putting a notice on the login or reset password page, but there were 1000 other priorities to juggle, and most folks can figure it out. :)

@rollasoc @resonut123 usernames for password reset should also work, we'll look into it... sorry about that!

@burrsettles they did turn up just late and in my spam folder, so it looks like it works. Probably more my US mail provider than you....

I've reset a few times now and cannot get any of my songs to open up on my android phone. Restarted the phone and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Also... My avatar and those of other folks on their pages are also blank. I'm stumped.

if you're having trouble playing your own FAWM-hosted songs (and possibly seeing profile images), some people appear to be experiencing this at random and we're still investigating. more in this thread: https://write.fawm.org/forums/892

(the good news is it's not affecting everyone... for example, i can still stream and listen to your songs!)
