Here’s Turkelton, or Turk, my boxer/pointer mix. He’s 15 now, so a bit older than this picture. Super fabulous dog. He’s been on a few songs over the years, as he really doesn’t like instruments like accordion or harmonica because they make him howl.

@scottlake bass is my favorite instrument and I struggle sometimes with only 4 strings! How did she managed to play a 5 string this way! Great!

Since Dragondreams' Cat, Peewee, crossed the Rainbow Bridge just after last year's FAWM, I've been blessed with a new companion. As Peewee was a very canine feline, Vinnie here is a feline canine and has slotted in perfectly since 22 December last year. He'd been badly neglected and mistreated but is now an adorable and loving pet.
And his happy place is under the desk in my studio!

It was so good to see your process of bonding on Fb and how carefully it was planned.

@mahtowin, he's getting more vocal as he's becoming more settled. He now has these adorable little grumbling noises he makes when he's content. I'm hoping to sample them, along with his tail doing percussion stuff on the furniture, then use them in a tune. 🐕🤗

Will have to figure out pics, but my two dogs Rosie and Sam are usually in the room while I write and record. Both rescues, both ridiculous and lovely. The cat, Sybil, does not usually deign to attend sessions.

He actually lived up to his namesake and found a body in the woods last winter.
I have two black cats too, Ziggy and Hobo. Ziggy is going on 17 years old and Hobo is a much younger feral, who adopted me, around 5 years old (and a serial killer in those same woods, unbelievable what that cat has dragged into the house over the years. or maybe I should say what left overs he's dragged into the house.)
