I'm an "au" abomination! That's my favorite part of my full name!

My name is Laurance, so I would consider a Laura or a Laurence to be closest.

I always hated getting mixed up with the Laurens in class (we had two, a boy Lauren and a girl Lauren, so it happened a lot; they were also both mean, which come to think of it might have had an effect on my reputation - unless they were just mean to me?). But if the pool is small and we are both unable to find closer matches I suppose Lauren, Laurie, or even Lawrence (despite the deplaurable lack of "au") would be close enough for this purpose.
