Liner Notes

An ode to Garcia and Grisman. I forgot how hard it was to record a duet that trades off melody and backing tracks without a click...

As someone who is almost exclusively a strummer, this track sounded absolutely wonderful to me. That mando is sweet! Very nicely done.

This is intriguing also. Brings some lyric ideas to mind. Nice playing on this track.

Nice conversation of the two instruments. For starting without a click track it is really a solid take. Definetly an inspiritation to work on my mando skills (let alone soloing on any instrument...)

I love that sweet, sweet mando! I really enjoyed the whole piece. It's warm and inviting. Easy-going. Thanks for sharing!

No idea about G&G but you delivered a sweet song. I like how you play the mando. It's a keeper

The changes you brought in at 1:14 and 3:55 felt good. I def got the ode to G&G. I'm back and forth on recording with click/edrums, or letting these songs breathe on their own. There is something authentic about this that a click might cut into. Nice tune.

Nice ez groove you can just fall into. Nice transition back and forth between the instruments, well done!

I love this, your use of tremolo on the mandolin and how it passes the mandolin/lead back and forth! Great job!
