I visited my good friend's @vulpesastralis new and glorious Dolby Atmos home studio yesterday, and we crafted this little piece. Or rather, I noodled some senseless guitar stuff and Vulpes Astralis crafted the track with their production wizardry. I also managed to talk them into registering on FAWM while we were at it! >:)

Also, looks like it's a FAWM win for me! Yay!

When the distorted guitar came in, I was getting Halo vibes! Finish The Fight! Definitely epic, very cinematic. The mysterious ending is a nice touch of cosmos too.

Wow! Such an expansive sound! The hashtags caught my attention. I was curious how ambient, metal, and synthwave could be combined. It's impressive how epic this tune is clocking in at just 2.5 minutes!

The build up is so beautifully spare but heavy. Feels like the intro of a space opera movie or video game, or maybe the intro track of an epic metal album. Because the heavy stuff never quite takes off, it feels like a tantalizing intro snippet. Delicious!
