I'm a guitarist and amateur producer living in the East Coast and working on my chops. My background is in metal and hardcore music. I've been working on a couple different projects in the past year, mostly math rock songs, a metal EP and getting some electronic stuff in there from time to time. For this FAWM I'm excited to delve back into Ableton. I plan on winning this time, as I only got 12 songs last year. I would love to make connections so feel free to hit me up. Wishing you all a wonderful FAWM!

Hey ! Saw your messsag on "faut que j'expulse". I suppose it is quite a complex question for dudes into rap culture like @soriforzys and @bxphane , but I look a french rap from outside, so I can let you know not the best but the better-known of french rap tune.
Historically, rap in France is told to have begun when it got political in the US. "Assassin" led the way with "un rap conscient" adressing murderer police and social inaquality : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdKS7bpwHpI
It then reached the mainstream media with MC Solar's calm flow and virtuso writing : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IIA65HPlZ0
But it was still the voice of the projects' socially stigmatized youth with the late 90's two main groups... The visceral NTM : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp1QxuX1nPI. And the more thoughfull IAM : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW4PtgKDc1k.
Since 2000 I grew old and the only hit that reached me where Orelsan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bjk26RwjyU ; Youssoupha : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BZw4r-7zfo and Lomepal : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_BqBtl7e1A.
I hope I answered rightly to your question.
i only found you after digging around some tags post-fawm. i gave all your tunes a listen without leaving any comments so i hope you dont mind one general one: wow! i love your ear for sound design!
Thanks for your comment. It got dark, but it was still always meant to be a crazy joke song.
Yo! I had a FAWMer when I joined tell me tag my electronic stuff as #fawmtronica. This community as a whole is probably more inclined to the singer songwriter crowd, but there is a pretty decent sized electronic community here as well and they want to hear it! So I'm just out here spreading the word of #fawmtronica lol. You can even edit the songs you posted already and just add the tag in. Those fawmtronica folks with thank you for it. Your tracks have been a real pleasure to listen to.
Thank you for listening to "i'm normal" :)

I'm very happy you liked it !
Much appreciation for the comments!
