This is my third year of doing FAWM

The Games and Challenges section of the forum is a great source of inspiration, I'll be doing loads of those.

My tastes will be forever shaped by the glory days of 90s Alt/Indie: Radiohead, Pixies, Guided By Voices, Sparklehorse, Sugar, Teenage Fanclub, Afghan Whigs, Breeders, Lemonheads, The National

But I'm also trying to bring more electronic sounds into my music a la Sylvan Esso, Postal Service, LCD Soundsystem, Fuck Buttons, Jon Hopkins, Boards Of Canada, M83

Hi, yes, let's collaborate together for the "same picture" challenge! Would you be interested in writing some lyrics? I seem to be better at music for collabs than lyrics. You could choose the topic - Valentine's themed (positive or negative), or not.

Hey, I love the drums you put together for #digital4track tape 6! Such a great foundation for the whole thing. :) I've been pre-fiddling with the mix as pieces come in, and boy do they work.

That sounds like fun! I'm struggling with lyrics though. I just can't seem to clear out enough space in my life/brain to write. But I'm open to any ideas. I'm actually trying to move toward a more electronic thing too, by the way.

Yeah, the Fannies are a real favorite of mine. You might check out a band (person) called Downpilot if you like that kind of alt guitar pop.
