we've been inviting these ghosts around

it's an outbound, get down, don't hurt yourself

most of them come back dodging arrows
mostly they don't come back
(they've now turned gray)
the ones that do come back, they're never the same again (wearing different clothes than when)
most of them don't come back
(they go round and around and back out again)

kinda like their middle
kinda like their middle was left behind
where does it go?

try to keep it upright
try to get it up by then
try to get em upright
soon they'll be better left behind

last time I looked outside
he was still thrashing up the road
