My coworker is always telling me “you’re gonna break out of this place”. He has a lot of faith in my work, it’s really nice. So I wrote this as a tribute to him. I also felt like a bird trapped in a cage at work all day… Hoping someday I can just play music for a living full time, so I worked off all those feelings as well. #free #americana #folk #jazz #singersongwriter #acousticguitar

I share your hope for you. An old Carter family song begins with the lines "There's a dark and a troubled side of life
There's a bright and a sunny side too". Both sides can yield meaningful life experiences. But the spirit doesn't fare well too long in the dark. Don't let Nashville defeat your spirit. We need your songs, your voice, and your fingers.

Having the dream is important. I love the way sing about it. You definitely have the makings of a professional musician, that is completely plain here. The competition in Nashville must be quite brutal. Hope you make it! I will have check out more of your stuff once I find the time.
