Liner Notes

This song was vaguely inspired by a friend of mine who is a secondary school teacher (11 to 18 year-olds for those outside the UK).A while ago he told me about having a very 21st century conversation with one of his 13 year-old pupils, that went like this (the names have been changed)-

Pupil - "Sir, do you have a therapist?"
Teacher - "No, Billy. Do you? "(from the tone of question I guessed he did.)
Pupil - "Yes, he talks to me and tries to calm me down, it's really irritating."

I asked my friend what 'Billy' was seeing a therapist for, the answer - anger management.

For the people interested in the gear -

This was recorded on a Zoom R8 using the internal effects - distortion /reverb/ mastering. The guitar used was a 1986 Japanese Squire Strat. Bass was a Squire Precision. Drums are played on an Alesis Percussion Pad (I had to record the bass and snare separately to the hi-hats - the bass drum was played by hand because my drumming feet just don't go that fast, ). There are three vocal tracks - all recorded using the internal microphones on the R8
