The complexity of feeling due to losing someone dear and trying to hold on to hope regardless the situation are all expressed in a beautiful and dignified way with power and grace. Beautiful vocals and perfect low-key guitar drenched with reverb that fits your dark, descriptive lyrics perfectly. Really sets a poignant mood that makes me feel the rain and forest. I love the vagueness of your lyrics, which probably paints a different scene for each listener. Very nice!

Nice guitar, gorgeous singing, really poetic lyrics. Great effort! If I may, I would suggest dialing back the vocal reverb a hair. It's actually hiding the beauty of your voice IMHO. Perhaps add a little compressor to bring up the quiets and soften the louds? Just my 2 cents
