After recording the demo for the previous song (sans vocals), I had half the day left so I thought why not try to write another, and out it came rather easily. Went for a more mid-tempo approach this time to evoke a slow deluge of iron winds.

Scattershot from the bowels of hell
The winds rising
Warlike howl full of iron

Abrasive gusts erode
Flesh and bones, even stone
Rending winds tear lives apart
Smothering the helpless heart
Air filled with burning spears

Ceaseless discharge of jagged iron
Hallowed storm that claims all mortal life
Endless torrent of chaos bullets
The winds rising
Warlike howl full of iron
The storm is brewing
Nightmare monsoon steelwrath scouring

Yup, definitely hearing the Obituary @bxphane mentioned as well. The riffs groove hard here! I especially like the "solo" part at 1:32. Kind of brings a different vibe to the whole thing for a moment. Have to also compliment the title, it's really metal!

Well this is old school. I somehow liked the lyrics on this one a lot. The end riff was metal as HELL.
