Liner Notes

I'm doing a thing this year where every week in home studio I put together a song. I focus on music, arrangements, and so on and less on lyrics and other things. These are less about perfect takes and perfect songs, and more about "what can I do in a week's time in between life and other things"

This week I attempted a piece in 3/4 time signature since I don't do a lot of stuff outside of 4/4.

I figure since I wrote this during the FAWM it can be uploaded even if it's less lyric-y and more just me experimenting in recording.

That drone-y synth is really nice! I really like the mix here & the fairly equal prominence given to each instrument. I can't tell if I'm hearing a piano & an electric piano doubling the chords or if that's just an auditory illusion. The acoustic guitar is very nice too. I like your arrangement pieces! It's like you're exclusively focused in on all the parts of music I care the most about on these with no pesky lyrics getting in the way 😄
