Lyrics
No matter how much I cut
It always grows back
Like a plague
No matter how much I care for it
It always reopens
Exposing the wounds
A struggle to find balance
No matter how much I try
It always works against me
An endless struggle for stability
I don't know who I am
I don't know what I am
I have been living a lie
It grows back, and reopens
It cannot be removed, or stitched together
I yearn for answers
And wish for a second chance

Sikk vocals. The dissonance makes me think of Deathspell Omega, which I love. Kind of like Dillinger Escape Plan playing black metal. The ending guitar brings some atmospheric spices to the mix. Again, absolutely shattering execution.

I'm not sure the struggle to find balance is always a worthy one. While this sits in a pretty different soundscape from where I play, the vocals make me think I spend too much time on clarity and miss some extreme emotions.
