The Flying Ace with accompaniment

Challenge: PUBLIC DOMAIN

Liner Notes

Could this be the longest FAWM submission ever? On February 21, I improvised live accompaniment for the 1926 silent film, _The Flying Ace_, for a live audience at the Plaistow, NH Library. This video consists of the movie with the audio recording from the performance. The movie was made for black audiences and has an all-black cast, because Hollywood a century ago wouldn't give black actors major roles in its movies. If you want to skip the introductory remarks, jump to 3:55.

The movie is in the public domain.
