I am a lyric writer only, so I'm here at FAWM for collaborations. This year, 2023, will be my seventh FAWM. I've also done six 50/90s. They're always very rewarding experiences. The talent and camaraderie inspire me in wonderful ways. If you like to collaborate with lyric writers, please know that I strive to make my lyrics easy to sing. I'm okay if songwriters make minor tweaks but prefer a discussion before major changes get made. Thanks!

My website badly needs updating, but, well, life. I haven't calculated precisely, but close to 200 of my lyrics have been transformed into songs. I've won Lyric of the Year at Muse Songwriters three times -- 2015, 2019, and just recently for 2022.

My wife and I lived overseas for 13 years -- Thailand, Slovakia, Moldova, China, and Azerbaijan. But we moved home to Southern California last summer, so I'm on Pacific Coast Time these days.

Hi, I've been slowly working my way through your FAWM output and thoroughly enjoying it. A couple of days back I listened to 2 excellent versions of 'Why'. I loved the lyrics and thought I'd have a go as well. I'm really busy and won't have it finished before FAWM closes but maybe I can post it to your website in March.

Thanks, Doug. I'm glad you're OK with my rendition of Wish You Would Pack Up and Leave. Looks like I left off part of your title and maybe I even misinterpreted your 2x notation, plus you may have meant it as more playful, whereas I took it in a heartbroken direction. If you have someone else who might want to take a shot at doing an alternate version of it, you know that I'd not only be fine with that, I think it would be pretty cool.
