Another idea....what if I set the scene by writing the first few verses, describing what happens up to the point where the townsfolk attempt to burn her - and then you write the rest - what she says to her community and what she chooses to do next.
What do you think?

Hello, just wondering if you're up for a collab or a prompt? Do you know the trad ballad, Young Hunting? It's one of the more interesting ballads in terms of imagery and plot twist but is, for me, unsingable due to it's rampant misogyny. But I was thinking, it might be interesting to write a song from the perspective of Catherine, the other female character in the song, who is wrongfully accused of murder and when they try and burn her at the stake, the flames don't take. No worries if you've got other stuff to work on, just a thought.
