(she/her) Cohosted a songwriter showcase with song prompts for a bunch of years, which was the boot in the backside I needed to write. During COVID, we found it didn’t work well online, so we stopped. We were ready to restart it in 2022, but our venue closed, and we haven’t found a new one. I pretty much haven’t written anything since mid-2020. We have a lot of FAWM friends who have come up with great songs, so I’m hoping to use FAWM 2023 to jumpstart my writing again!

I have three challenges up in the "games and challenges section", the Horse show, the paint card and the "Spark your imagination" challenges. I did the "Boat Name" challenge in 50/90.

Your explanation of the "eels" line reminds me of a story about a German translation about holding up the wing of a plane with a "wet sheep". It turned out the proper translation was "hydraulic ram".

One more thing, I think you should listen to my friend Darci, I've met her in person, she is the sweetest and a uke girl, she also like cowbells, check her out!! https://write.fawm.org/@darcistrutt

We were originally at the Guitar Gallery until David moved, we relocated to the library to keep it central and free and have been there for five years now, I know how important a good location is. I issue each monthly prompt to our group, but it isn't mandatory, but everyone comes with a new song each month and the ones who do prompts do advance in their skills. Happy to chat with someone who knows what I'm talking about!!!

Songwriters of New Hampshire Group - we meet the 3rd Saturday of the month at noon at the Nashua library, as Tammy said below. ;)

Oh WOW, so nice to see you here! I have followed you and Dan for a long time! I feel bad your online group didn't work, we moved ours online and it was lots of fun, but we are now back at the Nashua Library. WELCOME to FAWM Faith, if you have any questions, please reach out and I hope you find some inspiration to kickstart your musical journey!!!

Hey Faith, I'm in the Boston area too, and am a hammered dulcimer player. Dulcimers unite!

Welcome to FAWM! Hope you have a great month, and get to enjoy the community.

I have an oddly similar history with the songwriters' showcase I ran here in Fredericksburg, VA, except that I wound it down (just before COVID) because the effort of managing the booking hassles became too much for me.
