It seems I only brought napkins this time FAWM friends, but I'm enjoying listening, commenting, and jotting down ideas. <3

@gm7
Thx K! rest up and enjoy spring. I hope to hear a few new tunes from you during 5090. Cheers

Hi Kate - I saw you mentioned potential interest in coming to FAWMStock West . I wanted to reach out with an update in case you hadn't seen the thread.

We've narrowed down the weekend and venue for FAWMStock West -
August 18th through 20th in Ocean Park, WA!
Cost is planned to be about $84 (plus fees) per person, not including food. That costs covers lodging on site and activity space.

We need to put together a minimum count of attendees to be able to reserve the facility. We'd like to have that information within the next two weeks or less, if possible.

If you are planning or at least leaning strongly toward attending FAWMStock West, would you please add your info to this Google Form:

https://forms.gle/oFMRsWhvER5RfqzWA

Please note that this form is just to confirm if there is enough people to make this happen. If we get enough people signed up, we'll probably setup an EventBrite page or something similar later this year as more details get worked out.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for your kind comments, Kate! I'm glad you enjoyed "Moments of Love."
[avatar]
Hi Kate, I hope you are well. Thank you so much for your kind recommendation. I read it 3 times. So exciting to read. Thank you so, so much. You've made my evening beautiful.
[avatar]
@nadine
Thank you, Kate! ๐Ÿค—
[avatar]
i think we just have to accept the fact that we are not living in the 20th century anymore.
[avatar]
it is the very definition of post modernism..no new ideas, everybody rearranging the material of the past. we all suffer from it to some degree. making our own usic from the bits and piece that have influenced us throughout our lives, but struggling against tradition while trying to hold onto it and still making it our own work. we shall be passing out of that phase soon, as the AI has no burden of tradition and neither a persoal consciousness of the present. which brings us to a theory od 18th century philosopher david hume, who entertained the possibility that human consciousness did not exist, but was a fiction devised by the brain to protect humanity from the realization they were no better than the lower animals. and if there is no human consciousness, then we do not have that one thing AI lacks, if so, the robots shall surpass us. the meager attempts of flesh and blood humans to create art will be scorned by the machines.

i was working for one of bostons most eclectic booksellers when he told me that a new conglomerate threatened to put him out of business because they were providing what only he could provide, which was finding obscure books for serious collectors and readers. the company was borders, and their philosophy was , instead of carrying 100 copies f a best seller, carry two copies of everything in print, and do a search and find service for those going deeper into the catalog. this philosophy made borders the #1 seller of books and music in the country. you could find anything there. then they brought in the ceos with their smart ideas of growth and within a short period all they carried were the top sellers, the deep catalog was a thing of the past, and so were their loyal customers. within three years, their stores began shutting down and soon the company was virtually a thing of the past. and all those other companies who followed the advice of their overpaid CEOs began to collapse as well until the country no longer supported a viable retail outlet for books and music. i foresee a dystopian future in which all transactions are made through amazon, netflix, and spotify.
[avatar]
i had one customer who came in every tuesdy (new release day) and asked me what the best jazz record released that day was. he was aways happy with my selections. then when the company started hiring CEOs, it was forbidden to eve say a friendly hello. they had a mandatory script for every situation. and if you happened to be helping out on the register during a busy time, you could get fired if you neglected to ask a customer for their zip code....even if it was somebody who came in every day during lunch. each day you had to ask for their zip code. and the managers were true idiots. one day i was changing out the sales stickers on the new release display. the manager asked me why spme were stickered and some were not. i explained that i was taking stickers off the cds that were no longer on sale. she yelled at me to put them back on, her reasoning was that it was consistency that mattered. the result was that the 11.99 stickered item would ring up ar 16.99, and after the cashier was accused of trying to rip off the customer, a manager would have to hold up the line while programming in the discounted price.
[avatar]
@nadine
I cannot thank you enough for collaborating! My lyrics and chords would be nothing without you and David.
[avatar]
i was working in a record store also, and one of my co-workers and her boyfriend were into black metal, but also liked to smoke weed and listen to enya. i like many of those female irish singers, in fact i had one as a singing portner for a couple of years/. im not a big enya fan. i like her sister muchmore. but my all time fave is mary black.
[avatar]
"For me, it didnโ€™t feel authentic.." yep, THAT resonates! And what a polite way of saying it felt fake! Which was my problem too.
[avatar]
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words! And yes, I would enjoy hearing any updates to "Splinter." Thanks so much!
[avatar]
Hi Kate. I'm so glad you liked my upbeat "Eastern Standard Time". It was a fun one to do. I was challenged this week to write lyrics for it. I'm working on them (almost completed) and will record the vocal version very soon and upload it. I hope you'll find it and let me know what you think.
[avatar]
You're welcome, Kate. Always good to share the right vibes, which you do too. Happy Sunday!
[avatar]
Kate, I'm getting such a kick out of comments on this song...seems like I'm not the only one to fall for those guitarists and singers. Maybe I should start paying more attention to the drummers! Just kidding. It's all in fun, and it WAS really fun to have Caitin on the job here, with support from @jlampson. Hoping we can do more songs next time around. Thanks, Kate, for your support and comments!
[avatar]
@andrea
Usually, I cry a lot during FAWM. Not so much this year. Maybe it's the songs I have chosen to listen to, but 'Splinter' is so moving in every way. It broke me - and I loved it.
[avatar]
Thank you Kate. You have been very creative and collaborative yourself. And look how many comments you had for your songs. People love what they hear on your page. Thank you for all your support and kindness. I appreciate every word. Have a wonderful Spring, dear friend.
Nadia
[avatar]
Kate...I am so glad we connected this FAWM!
I look forward to collaboration
[avatar]
@nadine
You're welcome. I'm happy with my FAWM, now the REAL work starts. I look forward to our collabs.
[avatar]
@nadine
FAWMOver! How do you feel?
[avatar]
Thank you Kate, for leaving such a friendly and encouraging comment on my lyrics of 'Circles of Life'. I started following you so, in March, I can explore your music too!

ยง Roel
[avatar]
Thanks Kate!! I canโ€™t wait to get Matteo singing/sampling more. Itโ€™s pretty fun to work with him. I love this creative positive place called FAWM. I hope we have collaborations that last.
[avatar]
Kate, thanks so much for your comments on ""I Make Excuses For Him", so glad to hear this resonated, especially as I am getting delirious from FAWM stress and not sure I am making as much sense anymore haha. Appreciate the listen!!
[avatar]
@cts
๐Ÿ“ง sent your way!
[avatar]
@beacon
Kate, I not only with have you for a Harmony Challenge, I will seek you out! That and I'd love to do a collab!
[avatar]
Kate. .that would be fun. Our voices are so different and we could play on that!
[avatar]
Hey Kate
Thanks for coming by to hear me and your lovely comments.....especially coming from a fabulous vocalist!
You really heard me
[avatar]
Hi Kate
Thank you for coming over and checking out a few of my songs. I am primarily a vocalist and neither song had my vocals. If you have time, hope you come back and have a listen to me sing :-)
[avatar]
Thank you, Kate, for your lovely words about my song The โ€˜Missingโ€™ Sounds. On a mission to listen to your work now. :)
[avatar]
@jeff9
Thanks, Kate. Glad you liked Mama Makes Santa Brownies. Those boys make it easy.
[avatar]
i met most of my trust fund artist friends in boston. never knew any in seattle..but the people who have been inhabiting seattle for the last 30 years arent real seattleites. they are mostly poor, talented kids who spend most of the time indoors working on their art. now the whole city is a poserium,,,,,people sitting near the windows of hip cafes so they can be seen.
[avatar]
outrageous marilyn was too big to fit all of herself into the biggest dryer. she sat in the dryer with her head sticking out. there were so many memorably marginalized lunatics on the streets of seattle before the emergence of the bag lady stereotype. marilyn also hung out at the lake where my hoodlum friends and i congregated during the summer, and whenever a famous rock band was booked into a local venue, she would tell everybody that she was engaged to be married to the lead singer, and that he was going to announce it during the show.
[avatar]
Kate, Glad you especially liked V3 of Somewhere In The World, It's Yesterday. It was a fun collab. You have such a lovely collection of songs this FAWM!
[avatar]
Definitely improving.
[avatar]
Thanks Kate for your very kind and thoughtful note on Wake Up. You're asking about influences - which is always an interesting one to ponder. I've got a good idea which music I return to most often, but there's a lot of other bits and bobs that gets picked up in between. I also know what I output will reflect a certain mood - not necessarily how I'm feeling, but just, where I'm comfortable being in that moment.
What's great about FAWM is that through others comments and feedback, you get to experience your music through other people's ears, and learn from them some of what they hear in your work. I've certainly discovered a few new artists this way. And, of course, throughout the month of February, I'm probably in general discovering more new music than the rest of the year through listening to the work being produced here - and it definitely takes me to new areas within music that I might have never stumbled upon otherwise.
[avatar]
@nadine
All cool! Yes, I got ears. More precise: Two. I'm resting a bit today... Trying to restring my guitar and listen to music on my speakers. Only one song left to mix but I need fresh ears. Hope you're doing alright ๐Ÿค—
[avatar]
Thank you for your comments! Nice to hear more of your music. So sorry youโ€™ve been having vocal issues. Itโ€™s been a great FAWM. I might squeeze one more out. How about you?
[avatar]
@gm7
Thx K. It's a beautiful song..just beautiful.
[avatar]
@gslade
Yooo. I don't know if I'll do 5090, but I do music all the time, so if the spirit moves you this way, we can work on something at any time.
[avatar]
@gslade
Thanks Kate. If you have time for anything, I've not done any collabs with female artists yet this year. Not clue what we could do, but let me know if you have time for something.
[avatar]
@mctown
Cool. I've been wandering myself a bit of late. Good to hear about the song. I write year round if you want to continue.
[avatar]
Kate, thank you so much for listening to I Don't Have to Fix It and Thank You For That (Useless) Advice! I'm so glad to hear that the lyrics resonated with you - it's a big part of why I do this, to see that I'm not alone. Fellow recovering people pleasers unite! ๐Ÿ’œ Appreciate your other kind comments as well, very helpful!
[avatar]
@sollis
Thank you for the kind words, Kate! To me there can be no higher praise than serving the song, so that means a lot to me. I'm gathering from the messages below that you're not too well at the moment, so sending all my best!
[avatar]
That's a show I've still not seen, and can honestly say I've not heard the theme tune. I really need to check it out.
[avatar]
Well...I'm just chiming in to wish you well, Kate. Saw on some various posts you got hit with the all annoying sinus and ear infection. Between You, @tamsnumber4 and me, (salmonella and passing out kerplunk on the bathroom floor last week, I think we should call the new band, E.N.T and the Concussions!
Get better soon...:0)))
[avatar]
@andrea
Hi Kate, Thanks for your kind and thoughtful comments on Murderer and Thief. I hope you are feeling better. I miss hearing your voice. FAWM is not the same without you.
[avatar]
@beacon
How goes it?
[avatar]
Thanks for your kind comments on my Postcards 10x10. They are heart warming.
[avatar]
I do play bass recorder! ๐Ÿ˜Š
I've not recorded with one this FAWM though. I've actually only used my alto recorder this year... I might have to do something about that in these last few days...๐Ÿค”
[avatar]
Thanks for your thoughtful comments on "Everything You Say Can Be Used" -- they mean a lot to me.
[avatar]
You are very kind, thank you! ๐Ÿ˜„
My first instrument was recorder when I was 7. And I've played one almost every day since.
The instrument I used on the Castle Jam track is an alto flute, but I was being silly and bunged it through my high-gain guitar amp to get the distortion.
I've tried to use either the alto flute or one of my recorders in all the tracks I've done this year.
[avatar]
@seppo
Thanks Kate. Yes, i just put drum beat on and played bassline on first take and then build rest by that :)
[avatar]
@thetau
๐Ÿ˜ŽCool
[avatar]
Just posted my last (#14) song and came here with fingers crossed, but alas...my dear, dear Kate is still somewhat under the weather. Hope you've been writing a ton of lyrics at least, and I'll look forward to seeing more songs than usual from you come 50/90! <3
[avatar]
@crisp1
Hi, Kate. Thanks for your comments on Why!
[avatar]
Thank you dear Kate for your thoughts on Back to the Stars. I'm so glad you stopped by for a listen and enjoyed it!
[avatar]
Thank you, Kate!
[avatar]
Oh Kate, thank you for your kind compliments on The Only Way Out Is Through and Anti-Bucket List. It means the world to me! Are you feeling any better, friend? Itโ€™s rotten for a voice like yours to be down for the count during FAWM. :(
[avatar]
Sorry to spy, but I saw your message to Jerry and did not know you weren't well, and I also wanted to commiserate...I have a bad right ear that was removed and put back on to remove a tumor and it feels like if the wind blows, I have ear issues...so, what you said resonated with me too and it is ringing like crazy today, but I hope you can come out of it...I do vocal warmups in a hot shower, humidifiers and cara cara oranges!! Take Care!
[avatar]
@gm7
K! rest up...we still have a week remaining.
G
[avatar]
Sigh...miss your pretty voice. <3

Have you tried honey and lemon? ;-)
[avatar]
Thank you Kate <3<3 reading your comments made me smile! Oh and you are right on โ€žDancing with deathโ€œ - that sounds quite promising! Iโ€˜ll definitely think about that!
[avatar]
I just saw your heartfelt comment on my profile page for some reason! But so appreciative of you sharing your story - it sounds terrifying and I'm inspired that in all of that you felt gratitude and acceptance. I'm so sorry you went through all that but I'm glad you said you're doing better now! You have a great outlook on things. And by the way anyone who says you are "too much" is full of beans.
[avatar]
Hope your voice is getting better. Had to redo a song I did earlier because of my own "scratchy voice" earlier in the "season". I've been waiting to post it--it'll probably be my last next week. Looking forward to your "rebirth"!
[avatar]
Hey Songbird!
Thank you for taking a listen to I Miss You. I'm so glad you felt it. This one was a gift.
[avatar]
Thanks for commenting on my song "Lost Soulmate".
[avatar]
as a newbie to this world, what is 50/90? I am interested to know more and yeah, maybe be a part of it. Sorry about the voice issues. And absolutely, if you can't get to it, not a big deal.
[avatar]
do you want to do the song anyway? or are you too busy to complete it before fawm ends?
[avatar]
Thanks a lot for your Erroneous Worm comment! :-)
[avatar]
Kate, Thanks for busting my "Life Is Good- ..." Zong. Your wisdom is appreciated.
I enjoyed your ethereal (with hick-up) backing to very good lyrics on "I want Love". and sounds of the grand piano (at least to my ear) in the "Figure It Out" skirmish song. Your production skills and sensitivity show through.
[avatar]
@thetau
Checking up on me Now, you are... Thanks for dropping by. Enjoy hearing from you. Russ
[avatar]
@jeff9
Thank you, Kate, for your kind comment about Line In the Water.
[avatar]
@wacha
Hey, I'd love to have a collaboration between you and @billwhite51 for the comp.

The compilation actually benefits the National Foundation for Transplants. They help people raise money to afford transplants, they helped and are actually still helping pay medical bills. They are an amazing 501C charitable organization that fills a need that is often overlooked.
[avatar]
@nadine
Thank for your comment! Who knows maybe we're just fallen angels or materialised ghosts? I don't know why I came with such a lyric. I'm not confronting death, but its been a good writing exercise :)
[avatar]
@thetau
Sent you an email
[avatar]
O dude I know, my buddy and his daughter watch this YouTube โ€œsitcomโ€ thatโ€™s just a real family filming themselves like cooking pancakes and doing craftsโ€ฆthe little girl in the show is like โ€œno I donโ€™t wanna stop filmingโ€

Iโ€™m not faulting em I just personally wouldnโ€™t wanna film my familyโ€™s life like that. Some of those unboxing videographers be making serious $$$$ too. What a weird world.
[avatar]
@gm7
Thx K! Your memory is sharp as a accountant' s pencil...but then again they use Excel or whatever these days. Hope your voice is back to normal. Cheers
[avatar]
And, so kind of you to recommend "Once A Piano" in the recommendation thread.
[avatar]
Thank you for the encouragement! There are no samples in "Once A Piano," but I did find something special in the presets I chose for this song. Especially the one you are referring to. I don't think it's operatic, but it does have a flair.
[avatar]
Such a kind and thoughtful reply on "In My Rules." I love making music. :)
[avatar]
Love Logic Pro. It seems to know me and does what I need it to. I don't like what feels like a new, aggressive approach to stay current with the software though, which is BUY a new Mac every three years or so, or you can't update Logic.

Thank you too for the comment on one of my latest songs.
[avatar]
i have a lyric i have written for catherines album and havent yet decided whether to do it myself or give it to someone who may do a better job with it. i know you are very busy now so i didnt want to trouble you with it, but if you are interested in reading the lyric let me know and i will email it to you.
[avatar]
I think Carl JUng has done the best thinking and writing about the situation you described..when a man has an anima or a woman an animus through whom they must resolves subconscious issues..so they are always saddled with the same other in their life of successive partnerships. my song, on the other hand, is not concerned with that. as it sees the romance addict as one who craves emotional turmoil rather than the tranquility of a mature love relationship.
[avatar]
Carson McCullers. was one of America's finest writers. I am referencing two of her novels "Reflections in a Golden Eye" and "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. Regarding Catherine, have you or do you plan to contribute a track to her album that will be benefitting those with kidney disease?
[avatar]
i assume you get the literary references in the final verse of renewable happiness that you quoted, but if you dont, let me know and i will fill you in. ps. your vocals on catherines song blew my mind.
[avatar]
@oswlek
It makes my head spin that a vocalist as profoundly talented as you thinks highly of my singing, Kate. You are much too kind. ๐Ÿ™‚
[avatar]
Thank you for your comments on Glimpse! I didn't hear the godsmack vibe until you mentioned that and you're totally spot on. And there's always a little Tool in my musical veins as we well know by now ๐Ÿ˜†
[avatar]
@wacha
Thank you for singing for me, your vocals make it no longer my song but ours. ๐Ÿ’“
[avatar]
Kate, you're so kind! Thank you for having a listen to Pay It Forward, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
[avatar]
@sollis
Thank you for the lovely words on 'Flow, My Tears' Kate! So sorry to let you down with the absence of a lute! I heavily underestimated how many people were familiar with the John Dowland title!
[avatar]
@nadine
Thanks for your words on "Glimpse'. When I recorded the arpeggio I never expected this song to go that wild. And Chris added super swede vocals. Maybe we're both heavily influenced from the 2000s alternative music. I still love my good old CDs!
[avatar]
Hey Kate, thanks for the lovely comment. Appreciate it.
[avatar]
Oh no! My bad. Itโ€™s just Carley [at] carleybaer [dot] com. Sorry about that!
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to โ€œA Taste of Yesterday! Yes, I feel lucky when one or both of my cats hangs around for the song. ;)
[avatar]
@nadine
Hey Kate, how are you?
Bummer the site just crashed when I wanted to upload and update something. We added some vocals on "Pay It Forward", feel free to check out.
[avatar]
Hi Kate! Iโ€™m glad to hear youโ€™re on the mend :) Could you send me the stems for the harmony challenge song when you get a chance?
[avatar]
Thanks the kind words on โ€œIโ€™m Tired of Singing the Bluesโ€
[avatar]
Thank you for your kind comment. I was thinking the same lately! From water to snow. Have a great weekend already!
[avatar]
Thanks for the comment on No Comment! That was a fun one.
[avatar]
:)
[avatar]
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Cool comment! Thank you SO much for chiming in on my Necco Candy Hearts song!
[avatar]
Get well soon. <3
[avatar]
@kristi
Yes! I have seen Anne with an E! Great series. Thanks for your nice comment on Oh Little One. I can see how her effervescent spirit relates to that lyric.
[avatar]
@oswlek
Wow, Kate. The low in comment count for you songs is 46 as I type this! I'm glad, you deserve it. You are a star.
[avatar]
Thank you Kate! :)
[avatar]
Thank you so much, Kate for your moving comment on my lyric. I'll let you know when our collaboration is posted. Have a beautiful evening.
Nadia
[avatar]
@andrea
Thank you for your comments on Forevermore. It means a lot that it spoke to you. I hope you are feeling better. I would love to hear you sing this song if you would be interested. <3
[avatar]
Awwww...didn't realize you were under the weather. Get some rest.

AND HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY next week!
[avatar]
More songs! More songs!
[avatar]
@beacon
Just wanted to check in with you about the Harmony Song Challenge. I think you finished your part and passed it on? Just wanted to check before I bothered Carley!
[avatar]
Oh, Kate - Iโ€™m so sorry. Never any hurry from my side. Take good care.
[avatar]
Thank you so much, Kate for every comment on my music and collaborations. I appreciate your support. Have a beautiful day.
[avatar]
btw, yes, I'm doing well :)
[avatar]
Back in Holland after a short holiday, skiing. Thank you for your message, good to hear from you. Good luck, I hope things are going your way!
[avatar]
@nadine
Thanks for your kind comment, Kate! Yes, Nadia inspired me to go full band. I'm looking forward to whatever happens!
[avatar]
Thanks for the comment in the Judgement is a Parasite lyric. Next time you're meditating and those thoughts start creeping in, remind your that you are doing the best you can with what you've got and then let it go with your breath. You deserve forgiveness. It's the least you can do for yourself. Namaste. :)
[avatar]
Kate - I emailed you a possibility for a mothers to daughters song. It got me crying, which feels like a good sign, though my son would say "Mom, you cry at Little House on the Prairie" and my daughter would add "Yeah, Mom, every episode."
[avatar]
Yes, love Disney resorts! At this age, weโ€™re far more likely to be found at a resort than a ride - lol!
[avatar]
Thanks for the feedback! It was a preset on my Circuit Tracks with some distortion, envelope, and resonance
[avatar]
I appreciate your comments a lot... How can I thank you for your that kind and WONDERFUL words?
[avatar]
Think of me as a CaliFloridian so I love different things about each place/parks. Epcot ranks high, although I grew up near Disneyland so it wins for nostalgia. Thanks so much for stopping by with some appreciationโ€ฆ
[avatar]
@savoy
Thank you so much ch for your kind words on โ€˜ooo la laโ€™! ๐Ÿ’–
[avatar]
@brisk
Hi Kate, I didn't know you had The SPs in your musical DNA, that's interesting. Although I listened to Gish, Siamese Dream, etc... Mellon Collie hit me like a steam locomotive. I have no idea why that record particularly. I think I can say honestly that to this day it is the album that I have listened to more than any other. In the cold, washed out light of adulthood, I recognise that it isn't as good a double album as say, The Beatles, but at the time it felt like a bewitched treasure trove - or maybe more accurately a mansion with 28 strange and wonderful rooms. I loved it so much!
[avatar]
@andrea
Thanks for your comments on These Haunted Dreams. I appreciate the compliments on both lyrics and Del's perfect treatment.
[avatar]
Kate - how's it going so far this FAWM? I so appreciate your comment on "Save Me (By Letting Me Go)." Funny how all that came together at the same time a skirmish. Must pay closer attention. :)
[avatar]
You are way too kind... Thank you sooooooo much for your that generous words on the French lyrics... I was very, VERY happy to read them...
[avatar]
Thanks so much for your kind comments on the collaboration I did with @andrea - really appreciated! :-)
[avatar]
Oh no! I hope youโ€™re feeling better. No rush on the harmony track, itโ€™s only the 6th :)
[avatar]
you should watch an ozu film, tokyo story is probably the most popular and i believe you will love it. last month i rewatched 50 of his films. it was like watching 40 years of a japanese soap opera in the space of one month.
[avatar]
the trouble with truth is that it hurts a lot of people.
[avatar]
Thanks for the kind words on "T.P." The storycube challenge always brings out some strange stories in my lyrics
[avatar]
Thank you Kate, you are too kind!
[avatar]
Thank you for your lovely comment on Let Go Kate, I'm glad you liked it!
[avatar]
Glad to see you are doing well.
Looking forward to hearing some great music from you!
[avatar]
cool playlist. there's so much game-related music stuff out there ๐Ÿ˜€
[avatar]
hi! i don't have a playlist of those specific soundtracks / artists, but i do have a long-running, oft-updated playlist of my favorites of theirs + many other artists, soundtracks and games. lots of covers and re-imaginings too. if you just put it on shuffle and let it fly, you may discover lots of great new stuff !

[avatar]
Thanks so much for the kind comment and recommendation shoutout!
[avatar]
Welcome back Kate and thanks for the kind words on Thank God You Left Me. Glad you caught the humor in it.
[avatar]
Iโ€™ll look for a track to which your vocals can add an awesome atmosphere!
[avatar]
Take care of yourself, health comes first. Letโ€™s see who things progress
[avatar]
Thank you so much, Kate. Have a great FAWM.
[avatar]
@nadine
Thanks for showing that video of Tori! I only know this instrument from baroque music I hate xD it sounds so cheesy and happy!
[avatar]
Hey Kate, thanks so much for your comment and reposting my song!
[avatar]
thanks for your comment Kate. Hope you're well :OP
[avatar]
sent
[avatar]
@nadine
Thanks for your comment, Kate! Yes, I feel much better after that rant.
[avatar]
Uhhhhhโ€ฆ.Iโ€™m always down to get my pixies influence out to play! Iโ€™ll put something together and you can do it at your leisureโ€ฆI THINK I have ur emailโ€ฆif not is there a way u prefer to receive tracks?
[avatar]
Thanks kindly duder! U feel up to a collab this month?
[avatar]
Thanks Kate
[avatar]
Have a great FAWM, I am deep into my second book now so won't be participating (probably) but I will check in and see what is going on from time to time. Geoff :-)
[avatar]
@gavran
Greetings, and thank you for the warm welcome.
Best of February Album Wishes to you!
[avatar]
Thanks Kate!
[avatar]
Thanks for reaching out. The Little Miami is beautiful. Iโ€™ve paddled it numerous times.
May the music flow like a river!
[avatar]
Your voice is a treat that gives every FAWM. Happy FAWM!
[avatar]
@clioem
I am very interested to see what you come up with!
[avatar]
Good to see you! Hope you have a fun February.

Thanks Kate. Looking forward to listening to all the great new music created this month.
Sea turtles are magical. I took that photo while snorkeling here in Barbados. Iโ€™m kind of like a sea turtle, slow and awkward on land, but happy in the water. Bit of a hard shell, but I like to feel secure in it.

Mother/Daughter connection sounds like a rich vein for a song or a whole EP of songs. I'll start stirring that pot a little this week. Let me know if you any images or emotions start floating up for you.

Hi Kate

Hope you're having a good 2023 thus far :)

Just checking in to see if you still fancy the Kate Bush/Peter Gabriel style collab we spoke of during last year's FAWM?

Fingers crossed :)

Hi Kate! Thanks for the kind words. ๐Ÿ˜Š Always following your SoundCloud to hear what new things you're up to. Still sad I couldn't make it to the vocalists meeting in FAWMSTOCK. ๐Ÿ˜ญ Too much Christmas family stuff going on at the same time. ๐Ÿ˜” Was really nice to watch the recording, though. ๐Ÿ‘ Have a cool FAWM!

Zelda buddy!! Happy FAWM, I'm so glad you're back! I will hopefully bust out the ocarina this time; I'm newly inspired because I recently just learned the "Link's Memories" piece from BOTW on the piano and it's really cool to be able to recreate that. Maybe a challenge where we tuck LOZ leitmotifs into our songs and see if the other can spot them? :D

@djtjb
I should've known if there was one Batboy fan in the Fawmiverse it would be you ๐Ÿ˜. Super excited to hear what you got in store for us Kate! Happy Fawm!
