Husband on Tour is a solo project of Orçun Ayata, a professional producer and mixing engineer from Istanbul, Turkey, based in Wroclaw, Poland. He worked with one of the most known alternative rock bands from Turkey both on production and touring with them for live concerts. He also studies sociology Master’s degree where he writes his thesis about the role of independent musicians in the new era of the production of culture. The name of the project comes from the phenomenon that he’s out of his birth country, and missed those years when he was always on tour, and he expresses his inner chaos with punk and post-punk where this genre opens the gates of experimentation and raw emotions with minimalistic yet solid approaches. His main musical influences include current punk bands like IDLES, Amyl and the Sniffers, and GRLwood as well as post-punk bands like Joy Division and Bauhaus.
