Hello fawmers!
With thanks to @stuarthu for the nudge.
Here's to many happy song creations. At least 14.

Somebody wise once said: "Make your favourite things. Be the audience." ... not sure I'm there yet 😊

p.s. Happy to receive any constructive comments. I know some prefer not to receive these -- e.g. for artistic reasons, or that FAWM by necessity might provide unfinished pieces -- but I'm looking to polish things in March 🀞, and am hoping that fresh eyes/ears will help with that. πŸ™ Ta

Hi @richaux - Thank you for taking so much time with my songs and for the thoughtful and useful feedback. I will aim not to over-polish Is There Enough of Me? (which basically means do almost nothing). That's tough, but I know it's good advice.
And damn Shazam!
I will find time to listen to more of your FAWMing, but it might be a few days. All the best.

Thank you for your comments! Congrats on finishing your first fawm!

Thanks so much for your helpful set of responses on my songs, :)

Thanks so much for listening to "Like There’s No Enemy in There"
and leaving me such an encouraging comment. I do get imposter syndrome when there are so many cool, multi-layered tracks going around on this site. Glad my acoustic uke songs could provide something, too.

Thank you for the comment on "Mountains That Deny the Sun"! "This is a hard listen" is always a welcome compliment from people who don't understand this kind of music, hahah! πŸ˜€ But yeah, cheers for listening!

Thanks for the listen!
I don't set out to scare people... it's just what happens when I pick up a guitar 🀣

Thx for the peek behind the curtain on the vocal production. I was just reading something recently about vocaloid being big in Japan. So there's something to aspire to. Everyone wants to be big in japan.

@scubed
Thanks very much for your kind words on β€œCall of the Cranes”! It needs a substantial rewrite, but I think it may have possibilities.

Thanks for your comments on "....Second Maid." I enjoyed working with Kelly's interesting lyrics (not sure I could explain them all but was nevertheless intrigued...Dylan-esqe to be sure). That's part of the fun of FAWM for me...working on some songs that take you out of your norms with people you don't otherwise get to make music with.

@nadine
You're welcome. I always have fun doing some tit4tat. Yes, I'm also not a fan of heavy autotuned and synthetic vocals, but these tools are getting better. Some weeks ago I listened to a cover of "Fireflies" that was super close to the original. And I've seen Owl City live, so I know how he sounds!

Thanks for your comment on Take Me Back!

Heh heh heh! Yes indeed. It's a cleanser.

You are on the tit4tat list. Thanks. Yes I have learned a lot listening to other FAWMers, but you know, I leaned to ask questions too. And my questions were answered. It is a great community.

thanks for the comment on 66th and 6th! & yeah, the address doesn’t actually exist- if it did it would be in the midst of Central Park.

Thanks for giving my song a listen.

If you're at all interested in making music videos, DaVinci Resolve has a free version that can do the job. As for video clips to put under the music, I've been relying on pexels.com for royalty-free content.

I hope you have fun diving into the music video waters!

Thanks for giving "Peace Is A Quiet River Flowing" a listen. We appreciate the kind words.
