PS I have a song that really needed a female vocalist. I did my "Drag Queen" falsetto thing for the demo. But as one listener pointed out "the song is too good to be diminished by that vocal" (or words to that effect).

A quick background. This was for a challenge on the Ukulele Underground's "Seasons of the Ukulele". The host that week was a massive fan of the film "Dirty Dancing" - the task he set us was to write a song from the perspective of one of the characters. I picked up on the abortion theme and ran with it. I created a song Penny might have sung when she realised the truth of her situation. (The film is set in the early 1960s when abortions were illegal. Sadly, the topic is once more relevant with the recent decisions of the US supreme court).
