I'm a fiddle player (who sometimes also plays the violin!) who loves to sing but in the last few years I have become more and more enamoured with my openback banjo which I call my "spirit instrument". I’ve also started dabbling in acoustic guitar, and especially love open tunings. Other instruments you might hear me play include piano, piano accordion and Appalachian dulcimer.

This will be my SEVENTH FAWM! I have a wonderful, supportive musician husband, an almost-3-year-old daughter and a 6yo son. This year I’m starting two new instrumental teaching jobs, and have increased my load by one day… so yes I'm super time-poor! But one of the things motherhood has taught me is to really make the most of my time! I'm just going to try my best and see what happens. I just love stopping by to listen and chat to all you beautiful people.

I am very grateful to be still writing and performing with my bestie and fellow FAWMer @dani312 in our duo Corn Nut Creek. Watch this space for more CNC goodness! Another dear friend is @fearlessflight2014 who I also love playing and collaborating with.

As always, I do love to collaborate so don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best with the time I have :-)

Thank you for your comment on I'm Like The Moon! You have to pay to download from Soundcloud, I hadn't realised - I doubt I would see any of that money, the songs aren't registered with the PRS yet... there's probably some kind of app that captures audio from websites, or if you leave an email address on my sound board, I can drop you an m4a? 😀

Hi. Sorry about this, but I don't see the e-mail icon on your profile. The one on mine seems to be missing as well. I do see one in the customary place on some other FAWMers' profiles. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it! I've been here for 13 years and never done a collaboration, but I know some great stuff can come out of those. I'll have to get back to you--I'm already working on a few songs at once right now and I'm farther behind with my own writing than I'd like to be this year.
