This is very relatable. The feeling of having lost oneself is something we probably have all felt at one point or another. You've painted that picture vividly here. Really lovely song.

The blending of sad and hopeful in this lyric is done so naturally. Very nice.

It's a sad song, but the performance is so warm and inviting. It draws the listener in even as it relays it's downbeat worldview. It's very effective!
