Song number 1 of FAWM number 2

I came up with this crazy idea of a very rich guy buying his way into one of the most powerful positions in the world and then trying to take over the world (I know, it's a very cliche James Bond villain). Clearly as nothing like this could happen in the real world, any similarities to anyone alive or dead are purely coincidental...

For those interested in the gear -

This was recorded on a Zoom R8 using the internal distortion, chorus and mastering effects. The built in microphones were used for the vocals.

The guitar is a distorted Epiphone SG. The bass is a heavily chorused Squire Contemporary Active Jazz Bass. The organ sound is a Casio Privia electric piano. Drums are played real time on an Alesis Percussion Pad. There were three vocal tracks two panned left and right and one central with a bit of chorus and reverb.

We know who inspired this one :) I like the 'Noel' anagram and the musk of skunk connection. Nice idea. Funky groove and great open sound to the whole track. The gruff, angry vocals really underscore the point. Nice one!

Great work with the drumming; has a nice loose feel to it (I've been living in Quantiseville too long, I suspect). The panning works well with those vox too.

Whoa, this is hard-hitting. Love that it was written from the perspective of the "fictional" character. Production and driving bass really set the right mood. Love the lyric and growling vocal. Well done.
