#fawm #skirmish #minethepoets This is a good Skirmish for an English or Lit major, which I am not. I did draw from one of my favorite poems by James Whitcomb Riley, The Hoosier Poet. I thought I would try to pay a little homage to him, being from Indiana and all. I couldn't come up with much, so I went with the "Smack My Bitch Up" route. This is what got in an hour. It will most likely be discarded in mid March. It was still fun to make.

@roblyon5150 nope. just "add to playlist" and "play next." I dig this song. I'd hate for you to delete. Maybe you can put it up as a single on the BandCamp, and I can buy it that way. :)

@kaminokai Look at the bottom right corner of the cover photo. Should be 3 little dots and you do it there. At least that's how it is on my web browser.

Thank you all very much. And it's really cool that you checked out the original poem, too. You are all welcome to download this song if you want. If not no worries. But I imagine after FAWM, this one is going straight to the trash.

Cool groove and sound, and reminds me a bit of the recordings Bill Laswell's group Material did with William S. Burroughs narrating.

Reminds me of some of Bowie’s avant-garde stuff. Like from Omikron or Outside. Very cool.

Wooosh, went to find the poem and there's as much going on there as in your piece. I think it is well captured and very cool to listen to. I have no idea how you get all those awesome sounds but it sure is fun to listen to 🎧
