Lyrics
You gaze out your window
The years you lived here
Long lost and narrow
Time disappears
You want to remember
Time disappears
You ask, "Where's your father?"
He passed late last year
Answers get harder
But time disappears
It hurts to remember
Time disappears
I share news of family
Events and careers
Already memories
As time disappears
I want to remember
Time disappears
[BREAK]
You still have your smile
Your laughter and tears
We still have this moment
Time disappears
We both want to remember
But time disappears

@richaux
Unrushed and poignant; I like the way the picked flecks and subtle string scrapes peek out between vocal lines. The low open (?) string reverberates in a wonderfully bold way.

Very touching songwriting, it feels to me like someone at the end of life maybe suffering from dementia, something we might experience ourselves, whether as that person or as someone close to them.

Good voice. Like your accompaniment very slow and easy clear, precise. Comfortable sound
