Except for the needle and thread, I'm living that first verse . . . (I especially love "I have paper and pen and some number of things to say"). And I love the bridge (and the metaphor of "the mending basket's overflowing")

Oh man this is such warmth packaged into a song. I'm so sorry for the anti queer BS going on everywhere right now. I am touched by the vulnerability and beauty you share here.
