O Geronimo, no minor ego

Challenge: PALINDROMELiner Notes
This is my submission to this week's #palindrome #challenge
I found it on a wikipedia list of palindromes with a link to an article about Geronimo - Apache leader, who fought with US.
I don't claim to know more about history than I learned in high school, so excuse my ignorance. I'm actually a litle self-concious about my historical knowlege and misrepresenting history, but I'm facing my fears with this not-so-serious song.
This song is based on what I managed to learn from this wikipedia article and from it alone, for practice.
There are actually two palindromes in this song: O Geronimo, no minor ego & No devil lived on
#folk #history #acoustic
Lyrics
You weren’t a chief or formally trained
To fight and wage a war
But when your people were confined
You led them to freedom
O Geronimo, no minor ego
When you plundered and you won
No devil lived on
You learned how to hunt
From early age on
Your skills have proved superior
To raid your captors
All in the name of
American freedom
Determined by rage
Desired revenge
Some of your methods were brutal
But who’d blame a father
Who’s mother and children and wife
Were soulessly slain
You refused to give in
To oppressive demands
But much to your tribe’s delight
Surrender three times
Regret it for life
Still be remembered a hero
O Geronimo, no minor ego
When you plundered and you won
No devil lived on /x2
Unfortunate fall after so many hunts
Met your demise when your horse threw you down
There was no one there to help you
No one there to help you
No devil lived on

You have a lovely voice. Fits Well with the ukelele. Good to have a pause in 2/3.
What I would suggest, is a little intro.
Well done!
