Settled into my new studio and ready to roll for February! always up to write lyrics for anybody on anything! will still knock out my own 14+ for sure! Hoping to put out the first album of 14 by 20th of February! I am also doing a lot more of my drums now so apologies if i get a bit carried away!
I have run Songwriters and original songs podcast for 2 years come chat if you want a song played want to come on the show or be a featured artist. I am known as the compulsive listener so i will try and get around to as many people as possible

I recently released my 13th Album who would have thought it! I did a quick tally the other day and have written around 1500 lyrics and done 1000 demos

Oh and I am here to have fun!

Just a reminder I don't post here for critiquing of my songs but general observations are very welcome, especially better titles for the songs as these tend to be working titles inspired by my starting point only!

Wow! Thanks so much for all of your thoughtful and kind comments! I am still making the rounds!
[avatar]
Thank you for your comment on Desired Land! I gave it the same name as the title of the playlist for the FAWM songs for this year. It alludes to the ongoing war in Ukraine – old farm country.
[avatar]
Thank you so much for your kind words on „Bridges“!!! I’m a bit late to comment, took a week off of FAWM. I’m happy that you enjoyed our song that much!
[avatar]
@mal70
Re MEANWHILE Inrerested to hear what you'd do with it if lines were shortened. I agree it needs a little editing, it wasnt quite finished as a lyric, I'd written it more as a poem(ish). Have a go?
[avatar]
@gm7
Yes..widening the listening audience is main the goal in my mind and expending to encompass listeners other than FAWMers is a good point. Further discussion is needed.
I see that comments and the site traffic is dropping off fast as you mentioned.
[avatar]
@gm7
Yes, I see. Maybe there could a submission repository where we could "store" songs to be played by choice(host) or on a random bases. Not sure how the associated liner notes could be accessed...that's always a great recourse to do a short pre-ample about the song. I'm sure some form of FAWM radio can be developed and that's a good thing. Your show and others have really pushed the FAWM experience this "radio idea" would be just another avenue to keep people engaged beyond FAWM/5090
[avatar]
@jeff9
Thanks for checking out "Cold Beer" and the kind words.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to my looong song "Lucky to Be Alive." I'm glad you enjoyed it. I myself am also far from 16 😂
[avatar]
Yes, I enjoyed the third test much more than the first two. Hoping for another good result this week!
[avatar]
to the present / thank you for your feedback
[avatar]
Thank you for comments on “McCarthy’s Revenge”. This tune is an original pipe tune penned by my hand. Slainte! 🙂
[avatar]
I would be happy to talk with you! It’ll be a bit until I’m back at home, but I’ll get in touch. I’ve had very little time to listen while on the road, but am looking forward to catching up on yours. 🎵🎶
[avatar]
Thanks so much for sharing the song on your podcast. I have a lot of catching up to do with that - loved hearing Paul talk. So cool that you interview songwriters. :)
[avatar]
I'd like very much to collaborate - yes! Hoping to participate in 50/90 this year for the first time - will you be around for that?

And I'd be humbled to share some tracks with you for the podcast. What's the best way to get them to you? I have downloads enabled on soundcloud, if that works.
[avatar]
Thank you for your comment on my vlogger parody. Had to do it! Lol!
[avatar]
Thanks for your take on "Monkey in a Zoo" . It was actually a combination of a poem written years ago and a kids song I was trying to make ub for my 3 year old granddaughter. But combined turned into something quite different.
[avatar]
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. Will be listening to some more of yours this month too for sure!
[avatar]
@mal70
Re MEANWHILE feedback - thanks. I tried to catch something of the essence of the young woman I heard and I wonder now, is she still alive and surviving? Re the structure, that just fell out like that. Could it be a song, could there be music to fit it? I wonder. Maybe a musicalised spoken piece...
[avatar]
Thank you for the encouragement over the course of my first FAWM, including your recent comment on "Your Practical Magic" -- very much appreciated.
[avatar]
appreciate your comments on madness of madmen
[avatar]
Thanks for your comments on my Dead And Forgotten lyric. It's probably the one that I spent most time on this FAWM so great to hear that you like it
[avatar]
@gb9
Thank you for your kind comment on 'Complicate It' and congrats on an awesome FAWM
[avatar]
@eli666
Thanks for your comments👏 and you are free to use songs in your podcast
[avatar]
Thanks for your comments and suggestion on "Moments of Love."
[avatar]
@mikeb
Thanks for the comment on 'Rendezvous'!
[avatar]
@mk2021
Many thanks for your comments on my song. I appreciate you listening.
[avatar]
Thank you for commenting on "Good News Round Here". Very kind. I'm chuffed it works for people despite its origins.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening and commenting on "Land Wife/Water Wife." I'm glad you liked it! I enjoy doing odd stuff like that.
[avatar]
Dear @coolparadiso, thank you for your reply. Yes, my question was about being a guest on your podcast. No problem if it takes time, nice if it's also possible after February. Does it make sense if I give you my email address? (trommelschule.ilu@web.de)
[avatar]
@beacon
After 44 songs no wonder you're exhausted! I feel like I just got over the finish line, landing flat on my face. I'm cleaning my kitchen for the first time in a month. It's been a great ride, but I'm ready for the break.
[avatar]
Thanks John! Baby steps into the land of percussion - miles to go. 😀
[avatar]
Hello @coolparadiso, in a forum you talked about the possibility of a podcast. Is this still up to date? I would be interested in that.
[avatar]
@roddy
Hi, haven't been able to listen to or comment much on songs when I was away but am back now and will catch up. You wrote 44 songs - that's impressive!
[avatar]
@clioem
Thank you muchly!!!
[avatar]
Thanks for your generous wisdom on "Dash". Listening to a couple of your early songs, I'd say you were a classic rocker but listening to "Lonely Street" I could do all day. Nice mellow comfortable
[avatar]
Thanks for your comment on "Parle".
I didn't find the time to listen to your earlier tunes, but I'll be back here on March, for more listening & commenting.
____________________________________________________________________
Arg, j'oubliais que tu préféres que je te parle en français !
"Merci pour ton commentaire sur "Parle".
Je n'ai pas trouvé le temps d'écouter tes derniers morceaux, mais je reviendrai en mars pour plus écouter et commenter.
[avatar]
Thank you so much..I did the demo!!
[avatar]
Hey there, thanks for the kind words regarding "In My Neighborhood." Glad I could remind you of Yo La Tengo. They're an old favorite!
Hopefully you got the folder I shared to your email by the way. If not, let me know. Everything but my collab song is in there. Thanks!
[avatar]
Haha, sorry :). I'm probably done now at least for tonight!
[avatar]
Thanks for your comments on "YOLO" and "I won't." And thanks for listening!
[avatar]
You knew the Squeeze lads? You live a fascinating life, John. Hurry up and write your autobiography!
[avatar]
Sent you an email. RE: Your podcast.
[avatar]
Hell yes! Glad you dropped by for a listen.
[avatar]
@kristi
Thanks for your kind comments on my collab, "Sabotage"!
[avatar]
Thank you kindly for your comment and help (no god, no!) on Stupid Is As Stupid Does.
We had 'Fasnacht' (carnival to 'drive away winter') this past week, culminating in a big, 3-day party with parades and marching bands this weekend. That was indeed a big influence on this piece. Good ear! :)
[avatar]
@crisp1
Thanks, John. It'll be fun to hear what Berni comes up with for it. Congratulations on a very productive FAWM!
[avatar]
Hey John, thank you for listening and commenting on Midnight Things! I really appreciate your kind words!
[avatar]
@candle
😆 @coolparadiso: best Mornington Crescent reply play ever! 😆

See You In The Shadows…
[avatar]
Sorry @coolparadiso I was busy with a musical earlier this month and have been feeling sick most of this week. I think our collaboration may have to wait till next year.
[avatar]
Hi. Just a question…when you said “don’t forget to archive,” what do you mean? I’ve looked at the archive list of comments. do you print or save that file somehow Or did you mean something else? Thanks for the reminder.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening and commenting on "Book of Promises!"
[avatar]
Indeed @mandolinda loves #tit4tat and I'm guessing she'll see the tags here and if she wants to try she can contact me or just go for it. Are you hearing this @mandolinda! :)
[avatar]
it's a great incentive that helps many people (especially newbies to meet others in an organized speed dating kinda way) so it'd be a shame NOT to have it. LIke I said, someone else will ask and hopefully they'll take it on. I can even help them set it up, but I can't run the thread and participate like the last few years.... if you have any ideas who might want to send them my way and encourage them.
[avatar]
not this year. I can't commit to a decent sized example trade. But if you want to "run" it.... go right ahead. It's just a forum thread with a how to and little editing every day as people join/leave and change their bid. I'll play but only maybe 2-3 exchanges. I don't really want to put up a thread about why I'm not doing a thread. I'm sure several really keen folks will ask me the same and eventually one of them will take the reigns. Sorry.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to "Catch The Train" and leaving some kind words. It was so easy to collaborate with Andy's piece underneath it all.
[avatar]
Our random collab is up now, thanks for the lovely lyrics
[avatar]
I will investigate the vocal change plugin - thanks!
[avatar]
Thank you for the comment on "Silence is Freedom"! It is much appreciated! :)
[avatar]
thank you so much for listening to my song!! :)
[avatar]
Thank you for listening. Yes I wanted to play piano(because it was too dofficult to multitask) and later add lyrics on top of it but then I sang anyway and it did not sound too bad
[avatar]
@jeff9
Many thanks for your listen and comment about "Gabrielle", John.
[avatar]
Thanks so much, twice, John. I hope you take a minute to write something short about the album on bandcamp. Every endorsement adds positive energy! :) Hugs.
[avatar]
Wow, thank you very much for the very kind comment on "H2 sucht O"! This means the world, especially coming from you!
[avatar]
Ahh thank you! I am glad you listened. Yes, there is a Doorsy bit in it that I forgot to mention so it's nice you heard it.
[avatar]
Cheers for the comment on "Worms Crawl on the Skeletons of the Dead Tyrants"! Glad we could offer some waking up service for you! :)
[avatar]
it took me 10 years to shake the Bill Smooth moniker.
[avatar]
Thanks for the comments! I think I'll try to write some lyrics myself for the rest of it. :)
[avatar]
Thanks again for the kind words, John. Your love and support is priceless aAnd the 1,000th comment -that means something special to me. Hugs.
[avatar]
@kiffa
Thank you, John, for your comment on "Why Do I Love You". I'm really glad you liked it. And congrats on winning this year's FAWM two times over (so far)!
[avatar]
Thanks for the comments on My Mona Lisa! 😀
[avatar]
@johns
Thanks for your comments John.
[avatar]
Hey, thanks for the comment. I changed some things on Sounding Off and I think it is a million times better. Let me know what you think.
[avatar]
That’s just improvisation which makes it jazz which makes it cost more?
[avatar]
Thank you for your kind words (and for explaining "thrum"). I am enjoying your music as well, very much. For now I've given up on trying to keep up with everything you create though - you are just unbelievably productive. Oh, all the music I am going to listen to come March... It's just that not all of it fits into February.
[avatar]
try again. My new mac is not fun yet... https://write.fawm.org/songs/19007
[avatar]
Thanks for setting up the Skirmish and listening to my Seaside Shuffle 😀 I'll never make it to 14 this year, but this got me one closer to 8, which is my interim goal with an unusually busy schedule this year.
[avatar]
Thanks for all the kind words on my tunes @coolparadiso - much appreciated! Looking forward to catching up on listening. Congrats on already crossing the finish line!
[avatar]
Haha, yes! I should perhaps say in the notes that I picked "Johnny" because he's the fiddler in the Charlie Daniels song, but really it can be any Johnny :). I don't see any problem with being properly nerdy in a song anyway, so I'm going to keep doing it.
[avatar]
Thanks and Ha Ha-made a boob!
[avatar]
Thanks I got them, already finished writing the song, and will probably finish the recording tomorrow
[avatar]
@crisp1
Hey, John! Thanks for your comments on Mirabelle!
[avatar]
Thanks for all the great comments, John! I really appreciate your time. 😄
[avatar]
Thanks for commenting on my song, and for telling me about Nick Drake. Now, I'm checking him out!
[avatar]
:) It’s all in there. I tend to be pretty bipolar in it though, either wacky or melancholic.
[avatar]
hi there. can I be in next Random collab and was talking with Wobbie about music-van life and she said you had a studio in a van. Care to chat about that sometime? Regards tunecat (Liz)
[avatar]
Okay 👍🏻 looking forward to working on your lyrics
[avatar]
Cheers John. You're absolutely spot on about having to be abrasive if you want to actually force change. On another note, I'm nearly there with Everyday Lives! In the office today (boo) so will finish it off tomorrow hopefully :)
[avatar]
Haha, Fridge Magnet, Part 4 (A New Hope) is definitely on the cards. This is quite a fun game actually, though I should probably stop at 3!
[avatar]
Thanks for your kind words on "Haunted..." I enjoyed reading your take on the lyrics!
[avatar]
Thank you for your kind comment on Erdbeereis! :) Looking forward to listing in on your take!
[avatar]
Gin, hymn, it might have been Benedictine and I would have been orchestrating opera, but that doesn't sxcan or rhyme and anyway, it was 2017 (Ship was Astor, now razor blades)
[avatar]
okay compulsive listener, I've written and recorded your wretched just-one-more squid song request and will have it up in about 10 minutes after fiddling with the ISRCs etc etc
[avatar]
Dammit how are you writing so much and commenting excessively too? And now there's ANOTHER squid song your comment has prompted, thank you, I think.... Ah well, I'm sure I'll fall out of the zone tomorrow and get do some more commenting...
[avatar]
Thanks for the headsup with https://write.fawm.org/songs/17222! I had started the song post in "private" mode to check the song link and forgot to set it to "public".
[avatar]
@tjeff
Hey John - just sent you an email
[avatar]
@gm7
Hi John. I think I will pass on the random collabs.. The first one that I did was fun but unfortunately i have about 9 unfinished projects and I don't want to delay people if I get behind.
Thx sorry about that.
[avatar]
Sure. Look forward to hearing from you. Will clock the downloadable in sc.
[avatar]
@johns
Thanks, John.
[avatar]
Oh! After all these years, your lovely comment (Tentacles) was finally switched on a dim lightbulb in my brain, and I suddenly realise why squid are so teuthsome!
[avatar]
I'm a bit confused about the random collab. I see a list of names but who is with whom? And what's this about 1 day left? Please explain.
[avatar]
@andrea
Thanks for checking out Murder and Thief. I am so happy that you liked it.
[avatar]
We had a windstorm and I’ve been without power today, so as I check my FAWM comments I see the lovely things both you and @wacha put about her beautiful song, I am reminded yet again why I love the FAWM community 💕thanks for the smile :)
[avatar]
@wacha
You are correct, giving "Tell Me I'm Crying" to Kate to sing was giving it a beautiful new life. She elevated it and allowed me to expand the production in very different ways.
[avatar]
Hey, totally forgot to stop by and say thanks for your shoutout for Lyssa in the Recommendation Thread! Highly appreciated - thanks so much! 😄
[avatar]
Thank you for the excellent, lightning fast music for “Down Again All Day” - I’d love it if you want to post it.
[avatar]
Thanks for your comment on Me And My Ghost. Yes, I think it's good with lyrics to take something fairly common place but then take that idea a bit to the extreme!
[avatar]
Thanks for more on Calamari Love. Crabs! Did I mention the crabs? two meals of big Blue Swimmers? no wait...I can only cope with one invertebrate obsession at a time...
[avatar]
Thanks for your comments on Memory od yesterday.
[avatar]
Thank you very much for your beautiful comment...
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to "Love Me Like I Love You". You're right, Arthur writes some good material for us guitar pluckers to be inspired by.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to (A E I O), it is much appreciated. Oh and also for that great comedy sketch in a previous podcast. Interview in progress, someone's at the door, silence broken by Haim singing softly. Good script, great double act. Only kidding of course, your a natural, the shows are very good. At 14 already too, wow.
[avatar]
Good to hear form you. Thanks for reviewing "Out of the Blue (Came You)" and for being tolerant of the sqeaky notes.
[avatar]
That noise at the end puzzled me too... it's on the bass track so I can only assume it's my fingers on the body or something! Anyway, thanks for the listen and the comment!
[avatar]
Hey, Mr. Cool! Thanks for commenting on More Time. Glad you liked it.
[avatar]
@lowhum
Thanks for the comment, i felt some aussies might be affected :))
[avatar]
Thanks for commenting on my track! 😀
[avatar]
@brisk
Thanks for that comment - and sorry, I've really dropped off on listening recently (really self-regardingly I've had my own songs on repeat, which is just perverse). I'm going to try to catch up today a bit.
[avatar]
Hi @coolparadiso
Thanks for your supportive comments on, His Cries.
I love the idea of Slothcore, though I'd not heard of it before, it might be fun to make some lyrics that run really fast over the top of it.
I always enjoy trying top create strong imagery that triggers minds, and normally write to a scan and rhyme of some kind. but I I'm not a musician, so when a good collaboration comes along and a song really pops out, It gives me a new sense of awe.
[avatar]
@muz
It's funny to think being "high as the sky" is something to suffer from. But yeah, I get like that too. Less often now since I'm older ...
[avatar]
Gah, I hear the Coldplay now that you mention it. Appreciate the kind words
[avatar]
Thanks for your comments on dissolved :) Looks like you've been busy here!
[avatar]
Thanks for the kind poop words! Would love to talk poop songs with ya :)
[avatar]
Re; "Taste Buds Rule My World" - Thanks for listening. Too bad you have small plates, but I'm sure that calories are burned taking return trips to the kitchen to refill. We can live in hope.
[avatar]
@ltunes
Thanks for your comment on "Messenger." I like baritone ukes too!
[avatar]
I'd say I was pulling this style from "back in my day" too, meaning high school era for me. Thanks for the comment.
[avatar]
@billwhite51
Yup its just my attempt at copying verlaines style. The lyric is just a lyric a bit like he might have written, it is not any reference to verlaine who you correctly say was a good guy. Marque Moon would be in my top ten albums.
[avatar]
i thought it might be in reference to the guitar part, but i never listened to enough television to be sure enough to dare suggest it. and everything i have heard about tom verlaine made him out to be a pretty nice guy, not hate filled at all. but like i said, im nop expert on him or his band, but his guitar playing is unique and recognizable.
[avatar]
Thanks! I did cut the end and the MP3 version is 3.05 min….
[avatar]
Cool sorry I just realized there is a generic messages part of my profile. Love to collab on something. Am doing a get my feet wet thing now in the collaboration department. Waiting to see if I can get a grasp on sending files etc. So I don't frustrate a ton of people waiting for me to do my part. Will follow up if I don't end up in a train wreck and we can do something the last half of the month if you still have your head above water so to speak
[avatar]
Thank you so much for your kind words on "Distance relationship"...
[avatar]
Hey there! Got any lyrics for me yet? 😀
[avatar]
thank you so much for your comment!! :')
[avatar]
Goodness John, you’re killing it! I’ll come back for some listening. Glad that you’re doing well
[avatar]
@n24
Amazing! Thank you for the response I think I read that wrong. Those lyrics are truly beautiful you've done an amazing job with that collab :)
[avatar]
Thanks so much for your thoughts on my valentines song!
[avatar]
Awesome! Looking forward to collaborating!
[avatar]
@andrea
Thanks so much for your very kind comments on the Average Joe lyrics and the song. Paul did an amazing job bring the lyrics to life. It was nice to hear you thought so too :)
[avatar]
Thanks for visiting "Average Joe". I appreciate your positive response.
[avatar]
Ta
[avatar]
I think you gave me the same pairing again in round 2
[avatar]
Keep up??? You are asking a lot from me, Mister! 😀
[avatar]
@reklov
You're right with this!
Not to be forgotten: Thanks very much for your kind words to "Rotes Flugzeug"! It's a melodica that's unfortunately slightly out of tune. Thanks for listening!
[avatar]
Thanks for giving my "Growing Old Disgracefully" a listen. There is a Geezer thread?
[avatar]
@audrey
Thanks for listening and leaving such a nice comment on my "Exercise Music for Sloths".
[avatar]
appreciate your help with the random song thing and for the follow - i was born in toowoomba
[avatar]
Hi! Thanks for listening to "This is how I start over" and for leaving a wonderful comment :)
[avatar]
Thanks for coming by and listening to "Hey Minnesota". I was nervous to do an acapella take but no way was I composing music in an hour, so I'm glad it came out ok!
[avatar]
Thanks for the nice words about “Flamong June.” There were several takes in which I say anenome instead of anemone. Once you do it wrong…oof! 😂
[avatar]
Thank you for your comment on A Winter's tale, I'm really glad you like it!
[avatar]
@owl
Thank you for your comments! Happy FAWMing!
[avatar]
Thanks for the listen to my "Crazier than You." As you noted, the banjo "stepped away from the mic" (panned left) to make space for the fiddle when it entered on the right.
[avatar]
Glad you liked "Signs of Life". That was a very special period in my life. It was the closest I came to living a communal existence.
[avatar]
Thank you so much for your generous comment on "Am I the victim or am I the culprit?".
[avatar]
Thanks. I'm more excited than I have been in a while to get some proper recording done. FAWM is inspiring me
[avatar]
@johns
Thanks John.
[avatar]
Yes!
[avatar]
Ah, you found "The Only Way to Hang On". Luckily, when somebody else writes the right material, I can escape the romantic mode. This was a fun song to work on. I'm indebted to @nancycunning for giving me a different avenue to try.
[avatar]
Thanks for your kind response to I Love You. No matter what I try to do, I'm always stuck in ballad mode and this song's further proof of that.
[avatar]
Hi, John! When you mark a song as featured it goes to the top of the list.
[avatar]
Flick away, I’d be honoured :)
[avatar]
Thanks for your fulsome praise of my super heroes track. Comments so far show I made the right decision in pulling back from a crepuscular tale of the antics of the dark knight and his young protegé. 😉
[avatar]
Thanks for the comments on "A Secret Spring." You mention how it sounds a little like an old favorite t-shirt, and that's really appropriate, since I was wearing an old FAWM t-shirt while working on it, so maybe that helped. I also feel like I oughta apologize, since I uploaded it without realizing I wasn't finished with it - and lyrics popped out about half an hour after you stopped by.
[avatar]
Thanks. Great!
[avatar]
Thank you for the comment! You’re already up to 5 songs??? So prolific!
[avatar]
Oh my! 5 songs already! I will never match the pace of some of you guys, unless I get better at skirmishes.
[avatar]
Thank you for the kind words about "Sunny Song!"
[avatar]
Thank you, writing Never Stop Singing really has been a help to the process.
[avatar]
@nadine
Thanks for your comment! I had to do something completly diferent after screaming. So I wanted to work with puns and wordplays.
[avatar]
A-ha! Thanks for the explanation, I haven't heard that expression before!
[avatar]
@brisk
Oh, thanks for your comment on Who's That Girl?- that's really heartening, though if it tells a story worth hearing think that must primarily be because your excellent imagination is filling in a LOT of the gaps!
[avatar]
Yay! You are my first commenter for FAWM 2023! Just a little confused about the 'holding instruments'? Was that a typo?
[avatar]
Thank you so much. I really look forward to hear your take on Faces
[avatar]
Haha! Thanks for your comment -- I was NOT "supposed" to write a song today, as you probably saw, but it just came out!
[avatar]
@wacha
I would LOVE that! I've got a chaotic 2 weeks coming up but I'd definitely like to work on something with you. I was actually thinking about that when I was listening to SOS the other day.
[avatar]
Thanks for all your great comments! I'm glad I made you laugh :)
[avatar]
Thanks for the feedback on the Abyss, I think I am definitely improving.
[avatar]
the last australian masterpiece i watched (several times) was the big lez show...one of the best recommendations i've ever had, so yes, i will get that ASAP
[avatar]
i've wanted a theremin since i was like 10, my wife bought me one for my bday/xmas and i'm now the happiest dude to ever dude.
[avatar]
@kcc
CP… is it any kind of collaboration completely open?

Looking forward to attempting 14 songs!
Kevin
[avatar]
Thank you so much John! I appreciate the comment. I'll catch up on my listening tomorrow!
[avatar]
I would like to thank you very, very much for your wonderful comment. I was very happy to read it!
[avatar]
Howdy! I really appreciated the listen and kind comments on my 1st song of the year.... thanks!!!
[avatar]
@brisk
Thanks for being nice about Clissold Park - wasn't sure about the drums. It was just a capella at one point, but then I realised that I was just trying to do "Our Prayer" off Smile!
[avatar]
Glad you liked my Heresy
[avatar]
Thanks for braving the crocodile! Glad your inner kid liked it.
[avatar]
Thanks my dear mate for your support in checking out my stuff. I wish you at happy Fawm 2023.
[avatar]
@nadine
Thanks a lot 🤘🏻
[avatar]
Haha! You were too quick for me. Lyrics on now.
Thanks for your kind words.
[avatar]
@johns
Thanks, John
[avatar]
Thank you - more coming shortly I promise!
[avatar]
Thanks, have we done a collab together? I cannot recall?
[avatar]
Thanks for organizing the #Randomcollaborations challenge.Happy FAWMing!
[avatar]
Awesome John - thanks!!!
[avatar]
HA! No worries my friend!
I always see your posts and just want you to know I'm available in the future. :)
Happy FAWMing to you!

And you can use any of my music from FAWM this year as you wish.
[avatar]
just letting you know as I always do; you have permanent permission to use whatever of mine you want for the pod
[avatar]
Hi!! Happy FAWM!! 😊
[avatar]
Salut ! Content de te retrouver cette année ! Je te souhaite un excellent FAWM 2023.
[avatar]
Always good to see you here, John. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
[avatar]
I am very happy to see you here again... Have a lovely FAWM!
[avatar]
Yo! Good to see you around. Here's to a productive and fun Feb!
[avatar]
Hello, John! Have an amazing FAWM!

By the way, I added a small Easter Egg to the FAWM website thinking of you!
[avatar]
@tjeff
I agree on Unopened Letter!! I've actually been practicing it a bit and thinking of adding it to a live set that I'm putting together!
[avatar]
Hi there - just saw the stuff around your podcast and I'd love to share a few songs and talk song-writing. Really happy to discuss the creative process and writing in alt tuning on guitar. I completed an album last year and hope to have another during FAWM - only coincidence. This was the opening track on last years album:

Let us know if you;'re keen and we can set something up.

Cheers Greg

Haha, thank you. I looked them up as soon as I read that, because if they weren’t already a band I was going to scoop up that domain name so fast 😆😆

Thanks! Glad you're back around for the fun as well! Happy Fawming!

Good approach - your choosing the song for me saves me both the politics and decision paralysis of having to find the three :)

I'll wait to hear from you, then.
