Liner Notes

This song is very inspired by "Camp" if you haven't heard of them go listen to "the debts I owe" I love that song so much (don't listen to vagabond it's way too inspired by vagabond but also go listen to it cause it's a good song) I wanted to see if I could capture the innate feeling of wanting to run away from all the problems of modernity. I definitely struggled with not only the making of it and the idea of it since I have a busy day tomorrow so I can't work on a song then, but overall I think I'm decently satisfied with the result. thank my purple fingers for "Drifter"

You say Camp, I hear Schitt’s Creek. Wherever it came from it’s beautiful

The background vocals that come in a third of the way in are gorgeous. Wasn't expecting the tonal change that happens at the "Whoop!" Neat shift in textures there, though I could have easily swum in the lazy river of the first half for even longer.

After your previous semi-theatrical track, I read "inspired by Camp" and was thinking of the theatre camp movie, haha
