Liner Notes
For my FAWM 2025 album, I am writing a song for each animal classification (porifera, birds, reptiles, echinoderm, mammals, etc.). Each song will reflect each respective classification. There are 15 so I will end up writing a bonus track. This first one is Fish. I wrote this using both synth and samples from my clarinet. Enjoy :)

You encapsulate the sound of each animal so well. In this I'm hearing crashing waves, bubbles, the majestic movement of a fish through water. The clarinet is wonderful!

Love the concept of writing each song as an animal classification! The soundscape and movement in "Fish" are really lovely. I could hear this as part of the magical gardening VR game called Fujii.

That was an awesome listen, especially with headphones. The sound choices really fit the fish/water theme. If you keep up that level of quality this album is going to be a very interesting piece of work.

I'm going animal-themed this year, although I'm not going for it in a taxonomic way.
This feels wonderfully fishy, with lots of audio watery/submersible parts. The clarinet is the best bit. Nice.
