Lyrics
Juniper Boy
In the belly of twisted branches,
Silent, still — no second chances.
Crickets sing when the world slows down,
Hidden deep where roots touch ground.
Blue beads for eyes, blind but seeing,
The wind’s breath soft, almost fleeing.
Time stands still beneath that sky,
The juniper holds what we can’t deny.
I was born in the arms of the trees,
Where whispers ride the evening breeze.
A boy of shadows, leaves, and stone,
Roots my cradle, wild and alone.
Twilight breaks near the edge of the park,
A child steps out from the fading dark.
Some say he’s got eyes in the back of his head,
Seeing the past and what lies ahead.
Branches twist as stories unfold,
Silent watchers, ancient and cold.
They know secrets we leave behind,
Buried deep where memories bind.
I was born in the arms of the trees,
Where whispers ride the evening breeze.
A boy of shadows, leaves, and stone,
Roots my cradle, wild and alone.
In stillness, I hear the Earth’s quiet prayer,
Stories of loss, of hope, of care.
Through gnarled limbs, I find my way,
Through time and soil, I learn to stay.
I am the boy the juniper knows,
Rooted in secrets only nature shows.
A child of soil, wind, and sky,
Where life begins and legends lie.
