04: Prospects

Liner Notes

It was my goal to create a couple of videos this FAWM. This one is in my typical style when I’m using not visualization apps.

After, I posted this, I felt compelled to add that all my FAWM tracks this year have been longer than usual, possibly challenging the listener who prefers something more digestible. The length fits the narrative, I want to tell. And besides, the films I have sampled are 10-20 minutes long so, lots to sample and lots to leave on the cutting floor.

That's a thought-provoking layered creation. The image/music combo gets the mind free-flowing as the synth sounds evolve and merge with the overdubbed spoken text. Nice.

Digging these funky musical loop overlays and sound effects applied to this old sales training video. Some of the scenes and techniques on their own, compared to settings and tech these days, are intermittently hilarious.
