February's Alright (the Instrumental)
by @joefahey
Liner Notes
I just wanted to relax tonight and just come up with a mellow song to help bury my song from last night. I don't want to let dictators dictate how we use our creative time and try and influence what we write about. At least give it a rest once in a while. Since it's so late, I'm trying something different by posting an instrumental, I just want to put something pleasant out there as a palette-cleanser. I'll think about some words to put in there for mix 2.

This sure is some nice playing. I don't know if I've heard you do an instrumental like this. Really suits you well. This does sound like a really warm palette cleanser, like you said, but more than that it just kind of gets you thinking. Lets the mind drift in a really pleasant way. Feels so cozy like you just want to crawl up inside it. Whatever you're doing on guitar/bass I'm loving it. You could do a whole album like this. Rival that other Fahey dude.

Beautiful playing Joe. It was a pleasant way to start my day with a cup a joe and song by Joe. It feels like it could be played over the opening credits of a cool Western movie scene of a mountain sunrise.

I love the idea of a musical palette-cleanser.
This - especially as I am listening at 6AM, hit all the right spots.
We can not let "events" dictate where we take our creativity. Good on you for grabbing yours back.
Oh - and the guitar sounds lush.
