Thank you so much for listening to "A Taste of Yesterday" and "Blade Runner Blue." I LOVE the idea of theremin on the latter, if you want to be in touch via my email address jennyjennette @ gmail -- but also if time does not allow, no offense taken!
Thanks for checking out Wear Bright Gear. The PSA is vintage and I mangled it in my usual fashion. It’s my favourite track/video of this FAWM and will the title of my FAWM 2023 album. Glad you liked it too!
Cool, I'll write that down. I'm happy that it inspired you to play along. Who knows maybe we do a harmonica solo? Or some licks in between? Vocals will tell.
C is an easy key on piano, too! Absolutely no way to play like this in B. And on guitar it's OK but a bit too hard for my rookie skills.
Thanks for your comment and request on "No time for blues"! I'm open for a harmonica but I cannot tell where and how much. It depends a lot on the vocal phrasing and if we get a guitar solo. Would it be OK for you if I come back to you when the song is 80% recorded? This could take weeks and months.
All cool. I just asked because I'm planning my capacity. I'll stop FAWMing and focus on updates and finishing collabs. Just write me a mail when you're done.
GOOD Question. Hack or no Hack, you are bright enough to see what is in front of you. Total, "Hither and Yon" is unworkable, simply because it is the building block of Chaos. With Chaos you get a toddler pounding pots and pans in the kitchen. On the other hand Music that sounds good has an underlying structure, that has organization to it. If you understand the structure, (instinctively or by studying it for years either way), then adding a little Chaos becomes Variation. But Variation also needs structure. The creative Artist will be able to Balance the two and use it to create purposeful music that can be used to show feelings. As a PURPOSE you are trying to create an emotional impact. This is the Human nature of it.
Lyrics follow a similar principle. I see that you have instinctively, (and probably with some study as well), applied this to your music and lyrics. That's why your music sounds so much better than just a Hack.
Thanks for dropping by. Comments are always welcome.

2004, I think, was the first year. I joined in 2011 after doing a blind Google search looking for some way to get my songwriting kickstarted. Boy was that the right move! Glad you love it!
