Lyrics

I see you out there playing tennis in the rain
It’s 40 love now it’s match set now it’s game
Tears all dissolve in the same runoff solution
A backhand compliment that left you disillusioned

Pluck all your flowers
Arrange them in a vase
Paint them in your still life
Vanish in a

Crossed through signs and scribbled-out sentences
Marked out and drawn down with boarded up entrances
Read the writing on the wall and wonder what the art meant
Neglected like a pet in the tiniest apartment

Pluck all your flowers
Arrange them in a vase
Paint them in your still life
Vanish in a

Very different and creative song writing. The tennis theme is nicely odd. The chorus has an 80s synth pop feel, reminiscent of the Human League or early Eurythmics

What a great composition, very dark and forward-moving. LOVE that baritone, so deep and guttural, it adds a lot of depth to everything around it. I love the "tears all dissolve in the same runoff solution", it's a very clean and clinical look at feelings, which fits great for this so much. Very New Order at parts, and once again that bass made me think of Deathconciousness by Have A Nice Life. This is a breath of fresh air in the darkest way.

The whole arrangement is so broody and edgy, I love it. The vocals and harmonies are a great match to the sound

I really like the dark and melancholic vibe of the music and your voice fits great with it
