Liner Notes

On Friday night i wrote an instrumental slide guitar track called '7th Heaven' which in turn inspired @johnkaniecki to write a set of lyrics with the same title.
This is my new interpretation of his words which although bluesy, is very different to my original.

I recorded this on a Yamaha 8 track tape recorder, and the beginning section is the remnants of the music that was originally on the cassette. I liked the slightly surreal/ambient vibe it created, so went down this more psychedelic blues path for the rest of the track (whilst summoning as much inner Nick Cave as I could manage with the vocals).

The drums are by Liam and the rest of parts are performed by yours truly.
