One of my stupid and/or brilliant ideas this year is to write a series of Snippets. These are random ideas that pop up based on a word, or a phrase, or whatever. Stuff that is catchy and fun, but in no way warrants a full song. In this case, it maybe warrants 41 seconds, which is where it's at now. I'm hoping this helps burn through my lyrical backlog of stuff that needs a home.

I don't spend a lot of time on social media, but when I do its mostly filled with memes from my own echo chamber. They're fun, and I laugh, and they bring me a moment of joy, but they're also part of the larger problem and I find them frustrating, and then I scroll and find more, and chuckle more, and then I want to firebomb Congress, but that's "discouraged" these days.

So here's a live take single mic acoustic folk tune, that's either a protest song or an anti-protest song depending on your perspective. It's a song about ineffective memes that is itself an ineffective meme. It's a sarcastic song bemoaning sarcasm. I'm either very meta, part of the problem, or just another bystander to the fall of late stage capitalism and the American Empire. Honestly it's all three.

Oh, and it's technically #capochallenge, that's a capo on 6, putting us in the exciting key of F major. That lets me easily play a B♭madd♭13 chord, so that's kinda neat. Take that, fascists.
