Hi, I'm Jordan, he/him.

I've been doing FAWM off and on (mostly on) since @dasbinky convinced me to give it a try way back in 2009, sometimes doing 14, sometimes more, sometimes less, but always excited to do anything.

FAWM has helped me move from "maybe I can write a song one day" to where I am today, which is about to release my second album with @calfman8803 as The Archivists.

This year, I'm trying something different... I call it the Cheater's Dozen. That's right, I am attempting to finish at least 12 songs that already existed in some form prior to FAWM - some of them are just a 10 second keyboard part, others are two minutes of full arrangements, but all of them are incomplete. I'm hoping FAWM helps me get them over the finish line.

I like making songs that let me sing a lot, I like trying my hand at heavy metal, and I like making weird synth loop stuff. I love collabs and am usually happy to add vocals or keyboards to whatever you got.

Thank you, Jordan. Happy you enjoyed my little journey outside the comfort zone. I haven't decided yet what to do with my draft.

I decided not to sing cause Im extremely uncomfortable in that role. Last year, I felt miserable after publishing songs and receiving comments for my singing than my production. I know that you want to encourage me, and maybe my singing is not bad, but exposing myself with something I don't truly live makes me unhappy :(

I love the idea of the Cheater's Dozen! I may try that after hitting 14. I was quicker off the mark than usual, so I may have time. I have one already, actually, it unexpectedly grabbed me in the middle of trying to write something new, so I combined them.

I like the song a lot... but being all honest, I'm not happy with the clean vocals. I don't have the placement and grit, so I'm always happy when somebody re-records. Screaming helps me to get some stuff out of my system, but I still haven't developed a proper fry scream. I can create distortion - I can go into fry - but I can't mix.
