Liner Notes

I wrote the first draft of these lyrics back in a skirmish in 2022 (topic: manifest), and hoped I'd never want to actually sing the song. But now, in 2025, things have changed and not for the better.

The guitar and vocal are an acoustic one take, with a rough draft of a bass part added as a second track.

V1 is a variant of the A where the finger on the third string is at the first fret instead of the second. AM7 maybe? Ah, well, my fingers make a V shape on the fretboard, so I can remember what I'm doing, so that notation works for me. The Em7 I'm using is the one-finger version.
