Chapter 8: Glue it Back Together

At the behest of Lodge leadership, the Shards agree to a sit down. While they aren’t especially friendly with the Lodge, they do understand the general neutrality the organization normally operates under.

Law Gang, the Reddest Hand, is present. As is Rakshasi. But Damiao Santos was killed in the fighting, leaving Los Bebedores to send their new leader, the brash and angry, Estrel Blanco. The Court has been left by the wayside – they’ve decayed so quickly, they cannot even manage to choose Sylvestre’s successor.

They meet in a darkened conference room at the luxurious and gothic Hotel Teal, downtown, with Spassky, a grizzled detective from the Lodge, as moderator. And no one arrives without an armed entourage.
