so the other day while shopping for something else entirely, I stumbled upon a silly little trifle that I simply had to purchase (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HT6ZC7K). It arrived on my front porch today, and it's glorious, and needed a song written about it.

went and found and played it
to clear it out, was worth a try

while in the midst of brushing teeth
parody lyrics came to mind
I got excited momentarily
but quickly came to find

I was far from the first to conceive
this sort of brilliant idea
about being out of a given four-letter word
though it didn't stop me from buying them!

There's a little jar upon my desk
filled with my limited supply
few matter enough to earn one

I simply just won't give a fuck
unless I feel you're worthy

There's too much life out there to care
about things that don't matter
I attempt to shrug off most of it
as it only makes me madder

this whole oligarchy business
and the crap weather outside
the rattling noise the dryer makes
the way other people drive

but from a website storefront
for fourteen-ninety-five
five ounces of hand-crafted fucks
take but two days to arrive!
