This is a great song and sadly describes the state of affairs.
It made me feel better that I'm not alone just reading. I love how you made every line count and always weaved it back to the title with the medical terms. Bravo!

excellent write! you nailed it with so many great great lines, and yeah, many of us are writing these types of songs, this is a fine addition to that canon. love how you weave so many of the insane things happening in there- this really sums up so much so well. and i wish i had come up with the title line 'pandemic of stupidity' - its a great phrase.

Stupidity is indeed a disease spreading far and wide. How? I really don't understand it myself. But I appreciate all the protest songs like this! I like how you used medical terms through the song to keep it on theme, like "ill" informed, prognosis, inoculate and vaccine.
