Saw the skirmish with about 20 minutes to go, just as my food arrived, and gave up all hope of doing it in the allocated time - but the song landed in my head, so I did it in a more leisurely way.

I still say cool beans kind of weirdly a lot but it seems like a phrase from a time and a place so this is about being 14 or so, or how I remember it feeling. It’s another one for my catalogue of “songs that would have played at the Bronze for Buffy to slow dance to”

This is exactly being 14. Shitty silver and a t shirt hanging from your teeth - captures it perfectly. Angel would absolutely be doing some brooding and shooting meaningful looks at Buffy while this plays
