Wow, Debs, your music on 30,000 feet is so gorgeous and moving. Even though I knew what was coming it reached in deep and took my breath away. Lovely. I’m so grateful for receiving the gift of two beautiful songs for this lyrical idea.

Well, I definitely wouldn't think throw away, there are a lot of interesting things going on in it! I wondered about "y" instead of "and" but maybe try both? The people really seemed to like it, and heck, I'm with the people!

Oh cool, wow, that sounds like a formidable challenge, and you succeeded so beautifully. Lyrics have been exploding out of my head today, this has been a remarkable FAWM for me. A lot of walls have been crumbling before my eyes. A bewildering and burden-shedding feeling of glee.

Thanks, but I also should say I have a bunch of earlier unfinished collabs that I'm probably going to prioritize since I don't want to let anyone down, so it will probably take at least a week to get to this (though I guess it could be sooner). Should the next person maybe swap with me?

Hmm never mind, I saw that you stretched yourself by using loops. I suppose I could try my hand at that too! Now that I think of it finding loops is the easy part, putting them together is where I might fall flat on my face 😅

O dear. Thanks for the message, I don't know how to make electronic tracks and mostly do acoustic. Is that still in the spirit of the challenge? Unless you'd like to share some stems! I could try my hand at morphing them but wouldn't know where to begin making one from scratch.

Hey! I’m on morph #2 after tootoobee bagged out. I went to listen to the previous track, and I SO hate to complain but i find the tracks rather unusable…. I broke the rules and listened to the first and second tracks of morph # 2 and they’re good… but this last post is such a huge departure from the seed songs… I have no idea what to do now. Thanks for your help and understanding, Gina

Thanks for the support. I remember when I couldn't fathom feeling emotionally drained after creating songs, and you tried to tell me about it, and I was just dumb jerk about it. Now I'm like, "I need to finish this before I have a breakdown and set the studio on fire."

Makes me wonder what I could have created over all those angry and bitter years of masking and acting.

Lucky for me, Jess came along and kicked me in the ass in all the right ways.

It was a tough EP to make, but necessary.

Hope you're enjoying your FAWM this year. Holla if you want to combine powers on something.

Hi, Debs. I think anything I would do with the Morph 1 song would either be uncomfortable for me or would not be in the spirit of the Morph. Best to just take me out of the line-up and move on to the next person. Thanks!

Thanks debs for the morph add. I really am glad you started it as the morph is my favorite songwriting game. A couple of keepers came out of it, including the song people request more than any other of mine. While I have run a few in the past (prolly more 5090 than here), I am verrrrrry happy to just play along 😀
