I'm a singer/double bassist and gardener. I live in a small house (that used to be falling down but has been nicely renovated of late) in a cute little rural town in Central Victoria Australia with my patient and talented husband. I used to make a full time living from music for 25 years but the touring was destroying both my marriage and my mental health. Covid reminded me that I need to be home more, so I now do 3 days a week gardening in a large formal English-styled garden, and teach folk how to sing, and gig mostly within a two hour radius of home on the weekends.

My FAWM guidelines:

- collaboration invitations welcome, though don’t get attached to me finishing. I LOVE collaborating but I usually over-commit during FAWM and hit the wall at some point. I reckon I probably come through on about 75% of what I take on which is pretty good for an ADHD-er.

- don’t use anything I post in your art without asking me first. I’ll probably say yes, but taking someone’s art without permission is yucky.

- no comments on the mix please.
I have no ambitions to do my own mixes, I like the playing, writing and producing part but I pay someone else to mix things if I want to release them professionally.

Excited! Just played some sets at the Newstead LIVE music festival and am reflecting on how many FAWM songs I played that are firmly entrenched in my repertoire now.
