Hi, I'm Niveous (he/him).
I sing and play guitar in the band Lucky Witch and the Righteous Ghost. I write a lot of songs so I needed an outlet and thus Terror at Space Camp (T*SC) was born.
This is going to be my 4th FAWM in a row. My modus operandi is writing a bunch of songs rapidly and then President's Day Weekend comes and I gather a bunch of friends over at my house and we record the songs, despite the musicians having the bare minimum familiarity with the songs.
My rules for myself.
1- Everything is an experiment. Don't be afraid to fail.
2- Let those who help on the record bring themselves to the recordings. No rigidity to the demos.
3- Make music you like. Everyone else liking it is a bonus.
4- Just getting a chance to play music with friends is already a win.

2021's "Health" by Niveous

And I probably should mention that I'm the guy behind the Nur Ein.
Update (2/28)
How did it go this year? Fairly well. Got 14 songs done. No demos for the last two. And 13 of the 14 songs have gotten past the demo phase and were re-recorded with friends over President's Day Weekend. They're still in the mixing phase so I won't get to put them up on the site but follow Terror At Space Camp on things like Spotify and you'll get to hear it all as a finished album soon enough.
